Title A Tale of Thousand Stars Spoiler
I agree. When the doc was thinking “oh my god how could Tian hide this?” all I could think was, dude, it’s…
IKR I WAS LIKE, ITS BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO KNOW!

Title A Tale of Thousand Stars Spoiler
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm glad the main focus of the series is just around the romance. I thought the last ep was really good, you could see the pain that Tian is holding every day. I think what Doc did was so wrong! He has no right to know anything beyond that Tian had a transplant. Him finding out who the heart belonged to then stalking him on social media is completely wrong. I also think that Tian being expected to tell everyone about Tofun is unfair. IT'S NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY. A lot of people are saying that the pacing of this ep was off, or that they should have added some more scenes of Tian and Phu but I disagree. This ep was important because it set up the next one really well. We will feel so much more now, after knowing the turmoil in Tian than we would of just seeing him cry next ep. This show is so much more about family, community, guilt, and pain than it is about Tian and Phu's relationship and quite frankly I'm happy about that.

TharnType and Theory of Love are each attempting to create a plausible reality, which is why I think it's fair…
Thanks, this cleared it up! I am enjoying the show if I look at it in that way. It also makes a lot more sense if the show is a satire because it is very over the top! I wasn't really looking at it from that point of view. As for what I hoped for, I was not trying to say that they can't do stuff like this. if it came out that way it wasn't meant to. I just think they should make it more clear about how they are portraying it. I agree that not all series need to be mature and realistic! I also don't want them to stop doing satire things. I do like this show, and as a satire I think is great, but the problem was that not everyone realised its a satire, therefore without that knowledge the content can offend some people.

I love watching shows like this, but the topic of homophobia, though important to depict, can easily offend a lot of people who have had to go through hard times to do with it. I don't hate the show for not condemning homophobia constantly, but without the knowledge of it being a satire, it can seem like the topic is being made fun of, and made a less important issue.

now with the knowledge of it being a satire, I can see what they are trying to do and it works. But without that, some of the scenes could easily offend some people. I DON'T think that GMMTV should do away with satire shows, but just make it more clear about what it is, for people who might not have picked up one it.

This show feels like they are trying to put some difficult topics in a show with no research, I'm also sick of shows making an unlikeable character and then blaming it on there upbringing or silly immatureness and them having a full redemption arc and no one holding it against them. it's not enough, I get it, sometimes people act the way they do because of how they are brought up, but they also need to decide for themselves. especially in this show, Tonhon's actions are too far and cannot be written off as just a homophobic misogynistic father. It's not just this show or BL's in general but in many shows, I've seen. I wish they would start making characters responsible for there actions. I don't think this show is overall bad, there are some good parts, and as I said many shows that I do like have some characters that do some pretty awful things and get written off with a half-arsed excuse, like Tharn and Type (TharnType) and Khai (The theory of Love). I love the show and the actors who portray the characters but it is hard to overlook some of the things the characters have done. I just hope that GMMTV and other networks, think about this before releasing shows in the future, I'm excited for the 2021 and I hope to see more original drama's that if they are going to face hard topics they do it in a mature and realistic way, whilst being mindful of the viewers. Like can we just get more things like I Told The Sunset About You? It's simple but not boring and is beautiful, realistic and overall amazingly written, directed and, acted.

I was disappointed as well but, watching it again, I don't think it was a sexual assault. I'm pretty sure Ai was…
I can see the mix up, i agree with synchonicity tho, I think it was supposed to be just tickling, but just bad direction and angles. But no matter what it was, it does not excuse people forcing someone to come out! Im honestly sad because i was looking forward to this but, there are just so many problematic things.

I'm confused, how do you know the release date of English subs? Also if it is true I'm MAD like, they released the 1st trailer with subs in 2019, why not get subs before releasing it? it's honestly a stupid move.
