Definitely deserves a higher rating than 8.2

First episode has got to be the best start of a series this past decade. Captures your attention and doesn't let go

Enjoyed this, the actors did a great job. IMO, Shin Hye Sun is the best Korean actress. She nails her role every time. I wish we could have seen families reactions, knowing they were the cause

I haven't heard many good things about CEW's acting but I think he did a good job! Not the best but I've seen worse. The FL irritated me the most. By the end, I was more interested in King and other female historian than the leads

Their chemistry is amazing. Show was great, I loved the side story of the 2 lawyers

This series is amazing, the leads are so cute and funny! I kept putting it off because I watched ML in Emperor of the Mask and found him really irritating. Glad I decided to watch it anyway

So glad Kim Tae Hee didn't get back together with Goo Tae Young when he came crawling back

Never been as captivated by anyone as I have Simon Gong!
Literally couldn't take my eyes off him in every scene he was in, I'd rather watch him than read subtitles haah

Omg I wondered why he survived one time. Now I know it's because the sister died, so couldn't kill him. Was not expecting that! Now I have to wait till September for all episodes. This is why I never watch shows as they air haha

I liked Bai Qian to begin with but I found her very selfish, especially as a mother.
In my opinion she abandoned her child 3 times.
1. As a mortal when she commits suicide
2. When she wakes up after committing suicide, regains her memories but decides to wipe them
3. When Ye Hua dies and she doesn't bother to see her son for 3 years

I thought Mo Yuan and Bai Qian would end up together but let me down when they turned Ye ahua into his twin brother and he didn't get a happy ending

Halfway through, I found myself bored with their story and more interested in Emperor Lord/Bai Fengjiu. I can't wait to watch them in ELoD

Not really a love triangle but Weilian likes FL too, but gives up once he knows the main leads are together

This drama was over hyped, it just didn't live up to expectations. Honestly the cringiest kissing scenes in a CDrama I've seen, seems more like a KDrama kiss lol.
The only thing getting me through was Hao Mei and K.O.! Wish there were more scenes between them

The last episode is a special set during high school

Yeah DT & Appledog are leads in 2. Most characters are different actors but overall cast is better in 2. Don't see much interaction between DT and AD in season 1 :) enjoy watching it! The music in both seasons is amazing too haha

I know I'm a strange one lol. No I defo prefer 2nd. More interesting, prefer leads and not as cringey as first season

Yeah she is super cringey but it does get slightly better lol. Worth finishing just to watch ML and the KK lads. Season 2 is way better, also a different concept so can just skip the rest of one.

I watched this just for Hu Yitian and was mostly disappointed, he was barely in it. Loved Han Shangyan but FL made me cringe. She was so creepy and desperate, acting like a stalker. Sure if that was a man doing the same, he'd be given a restraining order haha. My favourite parts where the KK club scenes, the boys were so funny, especially 97

I watched GGS1 & 2. GGS2 is 100% better! At first I was confused because it's completely different than the first. The theme of robot wars was much more interesting than the coding one, I literally was on the edge of my seat waiting to see who won the competitions. Plus I love Wu Bai. Preferred this cast too, even though I did think it was weird to change most characters, they definitely fit the roles better. Definitely recommend!

Omg same! Everyone seems to love him and I found him so annoying and desperate. How many times can one person be rejected haha. And how smug he looked when 2 main leads were fighting, so irritating!
