I haven’t finished yet, but your review feels accurate. I am near the end of episode 12 and I don’t feel like there are any stakes. I want to drop and just read about what happens. Shame given the strong start.

I’m on episode 12 and I’m losing interest because this doesn’t make sense to me. I can’t understand how the third child went from being subdued and under control of someone else to now being a full baddie. we were meant to believe that he was being beaten and held hostage by the other person and now we see that he was pulling the strings all along. what did I miss?

Could this have ended at episode 14?

Really enjoyed the first two episodes, quite surprisingly since the trailer was a bit meh for me. I can’t wait for next week! I agree with those who said the vibe feels reminiscent of past dramas. Here’s to hoping we get a satisfying romcom :)
