Hehe, I wasn't sure so I thought I'd check and it seems we were not :D No problem, how could I not to when you love Matsuda Shota... And So Ji Sub - to be honest, I haven't seen anything with So Ji Sub, but I plan to only because he's so gorgeous...

Oh, actually I've known them as Lollipop F :D I was watching 100% Entertainment (because of Show Luo), and they were as guests, they seemed quite cool and funny, and then I saw another video where they were dancing a part of Dance dance with Show, and now I kinda love them, even though I have heard only two or three songs by them :D My fave I guess is Fabian.

Well of course, I don't mind you being a fan of Big Bang and 2NE1 as long as you don't shove it in my face too much :D

They just seem over the top showing off to me, that's it. There are a few songs by them that I like. I like Bom though.

Oh, flaws of kpop is something I could talk about for hours, I guess :) For me pretty much the whole kpop is fake. And yes, all this pop "t?c t?c" music seems such an automatic creation, such a calculated tool to popularity... And like you pointed out, when I listen to Seo I just really can hear the soul in it, despite the fact I don't understand 99 percent of the lyrics. And it just feels different, it feels real. It also angers me to see how much YG, Boa and JYP ask from the contestants on Kpop star, when their own artists already don't have half of the talent as those auditioning people do... As for YG, I dislike YG, I dislike 2NE1, and I HATE HATE Big Bang, but I really like Big Bang's music.

I know, he's just amazing, right? If you have trouble finding his discography, you can always ask me,I can send it to you through skype or something. I don't have the full discography (deleted the songs that I didn't like),but I have almost all of it.
Well, they were trio, Seo was the main singer and the other two were dancers. Thought I've heard that perhaps YG had some rapping parts in the songs, I'm not sure. Here's the video of the original Nan arayo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8em1w3KIFA Oh right,YG does have a rap part in it,it starts at 1:53 or so.
The other member is Lee Juno, and he was a dance teacher of the amazing Nam Hyun Joon.
Erm, he kinda is, I think. I've heard that he had a few concerts in this January or February, and when I asked one Korean if he's still active, he said "oh, yeah,he comes back to Korea once in a while, when he loses all the money from gambling" :D

Okay, so here are some of my favorites from him:
October 4th - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJHhRZ-vGSs
I usually prefer his lives than recordings, but this is the only song whose recorded version I prefer to live-simply because the recorded one has this extra voice on with harmonies, so it just sounds nicer.
FM Business - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZeoJtmElA8
Tik Tak - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8d6VAdbavx8&feature=related
Nan arayo - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQR-yMJPr98
And this one is actually from his band days, and it was dance music, but this performance was already when he went solo, and this live version is rock, and it's amazing, especially when you know the original...

Oh, that's so nice :)
Not long ago I decided I should go back to Japanese dramas, simply because Korean ones are so long...And it's not even that it takes up much more of my time, but because of that the plot usually gets too extended, almost like, let's say, 9th season of American TV series. But that damn kpop is still capturing me :D I even made my New Year's resolution that I should quit kpop, but I failed :D
And from more of "real" music I could also recommend you Larc en Ciel, they're jrock, and from Koreans - Seo Taiji. He is my favorite artist ever. He had a band called Seo Taiji and Boys, so then his music was old school dance music. But when he went solo, it was more of rock. And he's a Korean music legend, you know all those idol generations, right? So he was even before the 1st generation...He started his career in early 90s. If you want, I can show you my fave songs of him.

Earworm? I don't think I've heard of this term... On the other hand, I've been so into kpop I've started forgetting almost all the real music, so you know :D
