I may get jumped for this, but I'm 5 episodes in and IMO this is the most professionally acted, scripted, and…
EDIT: nvm you know of them anyway so you're just plugging a new show as if you dont know... SIGH My sweet summer child, please no: 'The Loyal Pin' 'GAP' 'BLANK' 'The Secret of Us' 'Affair' 'Pluto' 'Us' 'Petrichor'....
No plot after the 'marry because you have to... take care of her family because I made a promise...?' Mess of a story, no continuity. It was like they were filming clips for trailers and pushed them together. ACTING girl stop biting your lip in every scene.
are you people fr? it's free on youtube ! just use vpn :/
I get wanting to support, but that's not easy for a lot of people. Want to post a vpn how to guide for it, all in. Especially since there are many countries that can't use vpn. Get you :)
Hah I know, there are a lot of flashbacks. Last 2 episodes: We see that the whole plan was already known by Jaeyi's…
Jaeyi had been practicing holding her breath underwater in the pool so she could jump off the balcony into the water and escape with Je-na. They are only pretending to hate each other for most of the time leading up to the exam- after Seulgi found her at the pool the first time. Then later, they had to change up the plan, 'Plan B', but Jaeyi didn't explain to Seulgi about her father or that she was going to take the fall and about Je-na. Throw back to Seulgi begging her to tell her what Jaeyi is planning and thinking. Seulgi later realizes Jaeyi has been trying to protect her, again, "they were only vitamins", submitting her CSAT application and all this time from her dad. The footage of the operation from Jaeyi's phone put her dad in prison but only for a few months so he's still stalking Seulgi trying to find Jaeyi.
i may be too dumb for this bcs i don’t fully understand what’s happening in the last two eps 😭
Hah I know, there are a lot of flashbacks. Last 2 episodes: We see that the whole plan was already known by Jaeyi's dad. Seulgi swallowed blue/white pills. They were never the real answer. Jaeyi's dad had it in the red/white he gave Jaeyi ~- it was a test, he already knew, again. Jaeyi found that out and placed her phone in the operating room knowing her dad would do the same as he did to Je-na. Seulgi didn't know about it which is why the last time she sees Jaeyi at the press event she doesn't look at her, thinking she was betrayed. Jaeyi had hid it to protect her. The end scene is a present from Jaeyi not only the picture of where she is and the keychain, but also giving her shoes, "I wanted to buy you shoes too, but I heard gifting shoes makes the receiver run away." Jaeyi was asking her to run away with her, she was late but kept her word and Seulgi waited, another nice throwback.
Honestly, the most surprising element is: Nothing is what it seems. I'm rewatching it now and the little things now knowing where it fits in are amazing. Please if you haven't already, give it a watch and then another.
Look... great chemistry, loved their dynamic and the flashbacks, but I'll never rewatch it. How do you give all that, make the husband truly unlikeable with a two second bf for the other, then leave it on a 'but...' ending. Such old school 'no one is happy' vibes of early GL couples. Pass.
I absolutely loved this show! It was so cute and seeing grown women years later coming back together melted my heart. Only wish was that it was so much longer.
