What I especially like about this series is they actually made Gun cry every episode which his character, Third, really did in the novel. It hurts every time I watch it (because we have to admit that Gun's acting is ALWAYS FREAKING on point).
Some of y'all may find Third repetitive and boring but he's in love, afraid, and totally gay for Khai. He is his best friend that's why it's really hard for him to make a move, thus, the crying. He's pretty much relatable no matter what gender spectrum we belong. He's like this because he's young and trying love, be a friend, and trying to move on.
On the other hand, Khai's ignorance of his friend's feelings is what makes him appear cruel but ain't we all when we do not know a thing? All of his friends know how Third thinks of him but no one warned him (and what Bone did actually DO NOT count). Khai's an asshole and that's his behavior even to his friends, but he'll choose them all in a heartbeat, most specially Third. Truthfully, I'm curious on how Off will pull off Khai's POV.

And. I. Cannot. Wait. For. The. Train. Scene.
