I was rewatching lighter and princess and one thing is troubling me... I mean y would xulina think that lixun…
In the competition, also she thought it was her li xun talking about. She knew he could never be hers but she wanted to wait and wait and have the illusion in the. Keep her one side love going as wasnt ready to letting it go.... But it was good that finally she was able to let go.
But idk whether she loves loves gao or she just carees and starting to like him.
Its actually not zhuyuns fault that li xun went to jail. Its absolutely because of gao. If gao had not done that…
Gao's choices and like he said in last ep how he was scared no wonder when there was funeral he blurred out so much fang zhijing and everything ....and when he said to fang about li xun's sister knowing what could happen. He wanted li xun to suffer but not at the expense of someone's life. He is a good person but due to situations he made decision he wasnt supposed to instead of regretting it , he just created web of lies....instead of accepting it and letting it go....he just kept on going creating an illusion of whatever happened it was better it happened. Because he was never satisfied always blamed. He wasnt ready to let it go.
The first few eps of gao was good he knew his worth, he knew li xun's capability he was rational. But as we see it just got him. Li xun's habit or persona of not being the sweet talker or consoler and gao's persona of being worth or getting validation (mostly from li xun) was something that they want but cant.
There can be many instances where we can say li xun didnt consider emotions of gao but its not only gao he didnt consider sometimes it was zhu yun whom he didnt consider too.
But how zhu yun dealt with it and gao was diff. Everyone has their own unique side but i feel for gao.
He tried hard tbh to work on his own , keeping his good rational side intact not doing dirty tricks on li xun until that was taken away too. He had given up and just let himself to let his demon take over.
Li xun also had his demons which wanted to be out. He wanted once to let it happen. With or without regretting he wanted it to happen.
But all this started fang and ended with fang. It started with gao wanting to enter the competition for his sake but ended with zhu wanting to win the competition not for the winning but for avenging. It started with li xun realising how much her troubles affecting him ended with him avenging her problems. Victims are more here. But two main people were i cant say culprits but zhu yun and fang. Without these consequence or their oast connection we might not even have the rest of the storyplot. Thats just my opinion.
Finished watching it, i got attracted to this drama again after watching a scene clip....i gave these attention after it finished coz while it was ongoing somwhow i just didnt feel it.
Then i read (sorry i couldnt remember the name of the person who wrote it) but it gave me the motivation to see it.
First few eps i liked how it started but just felt little drag ....till ep 22 i felt my fingers crossed (sometimes it was slow paced ) as it was just heartbreaking.
The casting was done so accurately. I havent read the novel but they have potrayed the all characters is just so good.
I felt hate, sympathy, pity and even understanding gao jian hong ( i have seen his drama alot, this is one of his good character i must say).
I was so mad when li xun decided to become anti li xun stopped his rational mind and do the irrational thing but i felt him, i understood why he wanted that (for him that scene was revenge and convincing himself to redeemed but yet he knew who was the main culprit)
When hou ning said that its zhu yun fault i actually agreed with him. If he didnt participate in competition, if zhu yun didnt accept and just the hate go, they might have won gao would once be happy and proud to make a name of himself, it would have been diff. Its like what gao said ' we shouldnt be like this'. Gao might have not hate himself and li xun. Maybe who knows.
But we also know li xun never does things if he isnt fully convinced or doesnt want to do. So whatevr li xun decided it was choice his will. Maynot in the competition but some other time feng would have met li xun and competed as there will be many times they can meet be it in forums, functions. So zhu yun isnt to be blamed.
I still que his choices and doesnt agree. But this drama showed that not all MLs from being stone cold to be sweet laughing guy just have spilt personality. The ML had its owns problems , the way he handled , the way he became and no regrets just living to survive better and stronger.
He might be proud but he earned that. FL might be a follower but she is one hell of loyal, smarter and good learner. Her female friend group and whole grpup be it office collegeague or college. Its so admirable.
The music is soo good. I will not say i loved the drama but i will say that it satisfied me till the end. A good drama to end and watch at the end of 2022.
Omg the FL's smile can melt and swoop anyone ....ig with ML and every character in show, the viewer got whipped for her smile.
This story is soothing somehow, the kindness but not dumb fl that FL portrayed....both ML and FL had good chemistry and the all other character in the drama just clicked perfectly. It is a good jdrama to watch for soothing,relaxing, less drama and good pace drama.

Okay the two brother of DG's dad when they put a the clause of splitting by the order of the siblings (this clause was already not in use as this is was old version of the law)

The DG brother who is the youngest always believed whatever the elder two brother said as they lived in city and more educated. So put their (brothers) opinion first and second family. Didnt question thm (brothers) back also no matter what.
This clause made him (DG's dad) realise how the other brothers took advantage of him and he for the first time questioned them back put a law suite which he didnt wanna do but expeceted in first trail the brothers will say the truth and everything but they didnt....this made him realise more and fight back for his rights and what he deserved and what not and hold his firm ground. This made him win the lawsuite equally the money was distributed and he made it clear to brothers that he wont like earlier what he used to be....if the brothers imp so is his family.
This made DG to feel very elated and this case or this incident in life became most memorable as it was this case her best friend that is WYW fought (WYW was going through dilemna of whether continuing her job or not) This case made WYW to realise that is fot for the job. So DG was hapoy for both the family and her best friend.
After watching the scene of explanation of WYW to LJH.....i just wanted one of them mostly LJH to atleast went to talk WYW dad....i know bit surreal but whatever WYW aaid was something her dad exprieinced and expiriencing....but it's differwnt of what she thinks to be....best persom to come or guide or have a talk is with her dad.
When LJH didnt say anything when she told him that she will tend to feel lonely ig he somewhat agreed (thank god this wasnt high voltage drama otherwise the FL would shout more saying that ML agreed silently and break up in seconds😂😂🤦)
I want LJH to realise more in what relatoonship is in....WYW to feel confident about who is and be brave to get,have and expirience love and have trust and confident in her relationship. In last episode, i want closure of them getting together and slowly gradually learning about themselves just being in love ,make their bond stronger and then just leave it at that as a open ending showing that they might have gotten married blah blah....as itt's the last episode rushed but cant help it.
Tbh if they dont wrap up or give reasurance that LJH and KTH will get together or anything like small hint....rush and put everything in the end wont make sense. It will also not make to bring a third party to make their relation works. I dont know how they will bring 2 season as our ML is going to army soon....so if we want a second season to focus on ther love life and everything where LJH and WYW are together forever (🤞 even get married) we might need to wait a long time for it.....

One more point i would like to add is that Changheng for orchid is like her saviour, the one who convinced her master to live and let her transform to a fairy till what she remembers of him. DFQC is like a evil person coming alive from horror story she heard since kid or from born. She is hesitant to accept DFCQ and is timid coz of her body that she is in that is of a flower and on top of that having her weakness doesnt put her to advantage to either to even think of DFQC defeat or anything. She feel lower in all terms of manner and cant think of anything like liking him in the very first place. For changheng, she feels she owes to him and wants surrender to him. For her, changheng is reachable whereas DFQC isnt.
Her mind gets energetic and positive when she hears about changhenh coz he is her role model someone she admire and gets strength and willness and positiveness to do work and blind trust if necessary of its changheng who gave her work. Thats why she didnt even hesitate to work on that destiny book when changheng asked for it. The black dragon had painful past instead of being cold amd shut, he chose to be honest and be loyal to his master who saved him from the people who used him (black dragon). So he trusts blindly and faithfully to his master and nothing else matter.
For FL, ger character is can be said as someone who was never in picture but was put in picture to fit in and be there. She is like a flower blooming , nourishing , peaceful,vibrant just what the flowers do but nothing else. Her body of flower males her be this. Thats why it gets annoying when she just cligs to one thing but cant understand another thing.
Generally , it's the ML to be distant and be hestitant and avoud feelings and be cold. But this ML wants attention, the old friendly way of orchid when he used to live in arbiter hall, her authority over him and everything. He knows the feelings but cant excatly define coz of his lack of emotions but he knows something is between them that he wants which explain him getying envious of changheng.
Now its the FL who looks as if loving or liking ML is a sin coz as i said still hung to one thing coz ML being a threat to her home. But never looks more from the things that she sees. Im telling till ep 15. Thats what i feel till now....i want to write tbh but lets see....i want to observe more
