like you , I was so in to the Rebel Princess, the main leads chemistry was amazing but I watched only till epi 40 and could'nd finish it...so much toxicity and betrayal and the FL became weak and boring. Where TLB just sucked me in naturally, the story, the GeSun factor, the cast, the OST, the almost all of it...except... a bit disappointed at the end. Season 2 is needed.

That is so true. Even though GeSun is my most favorite couple, i absolutely love almost the whole cast. so much built up up to the end but the last episode is kinda anticlimax for some reason.

HaoYan love story is quite lovely and straight forward, while GeSun story of their fateful love is so captivating and irresistibly enchanting. The director is taunting us with that blurry kiss might not be a bad idea since that makes our imagination run wild and their mere presence together even more electrical & bewitching.
