So, if detective Jin Geom had " continued this cycle of going back AGAIN and AGAIN trying to save her mother for many years" later on he will become like the bitter old man that he saw.
The future Jin Geom ( in the black hoody) said that he had tried to save his mother in the past ( but this will be the future for detective Jin Geom - trying to save his mother.) But then he will not be able to and become just like him later in the future.
** this is also why the future Jin Geom said: I have the power of time but it is also suffocating me **

There was a reason why whenever the detective came back to 2010 the mom would always say please forget about this and move on. She knew what will happen to her son if he didn't stop ( become a monster).
That is also why when we first went back.. she was happy that her son was all grownup and good boy.

This cycle and repeated loophole ended when the mother killed herself and the detective killed his future old self. I'm not sure why this solved everything. But it did.

Because of that particular moment... we see a "new future." We see the future where her son actually went his mother to the store. In this new future her son is a different person. ( the detective's world that he knows doesn't exist anymore)

my problem is in this new future.. his mother should be alive. He should be like hey why is this person similar to this women.

soo basically he's going back in time to fix everything from the beginning...so we're going to get like a short version of ep 1- ep 15 AGAIN? ..................... this is prob going to take like 45 MIN. I mean if he goes to EACH and EVERY ONE that was killed that is going to take A LONG TIME.

what the professor said was important....
Time never ends but people have a beginning and an ending. We should always keep moving forward and not try to go back to change.
But it is because Park Jin Gyum is trying to change the past that this cycle will keep going forward... If he just let go... i think the cycle would end....

** If we get the ending where the world restarts... I'm wondering if we get the world where Yoo Min Hyuk and Yoon Tae Yi decided to stay behind and have the child

[ Also, someone down below said we saw 3 versions of PJG... and my memory only remembers 2? .... Regardless , if there are 3 versions of PJG we've been exposed too. Logically, we should see 3 versions of Kim Hee Sun as well. We SO FAR only seen 2.. and the last one has to be the evil one right? If there is a 3rd Kim Hee Sun--- at least make her seemed aged.... ]

why I think the dark vader person is EVIL Park Sun Young or PJG's grandmother...
1. somewhere in the episode...Yoon Tae Yi gets flash backs of Park Sun Young memories... where she asked a very important question... What happens if I go time traveling back into the future while pregnant? We of course didn't get an answer.
So, I'm assuming that if she did that.. her child would be evil. We saw last week episode where another version of PJG tried to kill her mother in the original storyline. I'm guessing that evil PJG replaced the original PJG.

2. professor Yoon Tae Yi asked a very important questions to detective PJG [ last week eps ] .... during highschool did you ever have a nosebleed where you were knocked out? have your illness made you suffer or knock you out [ something along the lines of this ].
professor Yoon Tae Yi asked those questions to see if any point he was kept kidnapped and replaced by the evil PJG in the real original storyline.

3. Evil PJH phone call " don't worry the police think that the girl committed suicide instead of someone murdering her." but it was picked up by Professor Yoon Tae Yi instead of whoever he was really suppose to hang. ** Also, I was thinking form last week that maybe the girl who died was also a time traveler as well**
I believe he was suppose to talk to the "teacher" or " his evil mother" instead Professor Yoon Tae Yi picked up and heard.

4. Who else can make original PJG become bad and evil... Only his mother can. This is another reason why I think the dark vader person is his evil mother.


I wonder if Park Sun Young noticed a change in her son... if her son was indeed replaced she should of noticed. Maybe she was trying to change her "evil" son to be a better human being so she made efforts in trying. [ Because we saw when detective PJG saw his mother dieing the 2nd time - from time traveling. She said " its good to see my grown up son." I don't remember if she said like grow up well and good.
Looking back i feel like she knew that her son was replaced and evil.

I think the detective PJG became good because the original storyline he got adopted by Go Hyun Seok.

The evil PJG is probably a version of either
a. from the 2050 timeline - after time traveling again
b. if PJG was never adopted by Go hyung Seok


Also, for Park Sun Young to stop this.. I think she had to kill her own son but she didn't have the heart to do it. So, she let the prophecy from the book take its course and let her son kill her.

i really didn't like the ep.
I loved the opening and there was funny parts here and there...
but if every week they have to do construction work in building a fake store or w/e I don't think it'll last long.... so maybe that's why they are only doing it for 10 eps.
The preview for next week seems promising tho.
If they have to built the whole entire set to imply this person is rich. I def don't see this as long term

The "supposedly initial reporter" was saying how she was going to expose this and make sure everything gets revealed.
Guess what happened? An employee from a cellphone repair store was the one who reported the illegal activities from the chatroom.

This is pretty much the same scenario but...
In the case of JDG.. the hacker was the one who is getting the blame.
and in the case of the burning sun / illegal filming / etc... its the celebrities...

I mentioned how netizens made comments how powerful JDG must be... he blocked all news articles from coming out. He also probably paid the naver to make sure his name does not appear on the most search list. Yes, the other actor that was involved.. name did appear but not JDG. That shows how much power he must have.

i really hope that jang dong gun gets replaced....
it's kind of scary how much power jang dong gun must have.... there are netizens that made comments that his name was not on the most search list on naver that day. This implies he blocked all articles and all search engines on him. He made sure that his name never came out on the most search list.

But this might be the case like Lee Byun Hyun... he was hated but made one good drama ( Mr.Sunshine) and his scandal was forgotten in a snap.

im confused because the detective arrested the old grandpa and said that he is going to be at least in jail for one year meaning he cant do the reset.. But after he's out of jail ( if he does get out in 1 year he can go back to before he was arrested? or change the fate)
Jan 11,2019 -> grandpa got arrested
Jan 11,2020 -> grandpa gets out of jail

and another question... if he goes back to jan 11,2019 can't he just go right away and reset to jan 11, 2018?

I was wondering how the coffee guy was still alive when I suspected him to be one of the first few to die.
After SH got arrested and we got some peaceful moments I knew that this was not the end. That fate and destiny was still running it's course. It also was confirmed when HJ went to Lee Shin and said we changed the destiny. Lee Shin said" things are about to get interesting"

I kind of feel bad for Lee Shin.. a while back she mentioned in the one of the eps that she was a VICTIM too. She has to see her child keep dieing the same way each and every time for the past 5 times. She has to have found a clue from all these 5 times she done this to know how to stop this.

What Lee Shim said was all true. The statement above and the fact that she wants to know if anyone can change their fate. So she can either stop this or if anyone somehow changes their destiny. She mostly would change her child fate as well.

I do honestly see if the 6th reset happens: I can see Lee Shim helping HJ & GH by either putting them on the trunk of the large limo. She can pass notes, videos, or photos so that they remember.

I do think that SH will at the end die for HJ & GH.
Remember what Lee Shin said to SH is important " You are safe when everyone is killed"

I did think it was super fishy when GH came inside the clinic and looked around for Lee Shin. She opened the office room.. the room we saw the professor in the last ep. The secretary quickly close the door and blocked the door.

I wonder how Bae Jung Tae found out the truth. Remember he showed the picture of I believe the Sumo clinic?
The preview showed the coffee guy wanted to live longer. I wonder if he does the rest to see if he can develop medicine to stop from aging or something.

Lee Shin is probably experimenting with the group to see if someone escapes their death... If someone does manage to do this.. she will probably keep resetting until she can find a solution.

Detective Ho questions were scary and it may lead to questions to why he is doing this..
1. How do you come back from the reset?
I'm wondering after he kills everyone if he will go and try to reset so he can keep killing everyone again and again in the same timeline.
2. The timeline I was originally from... where am I doing?
detective jo: your still working in this field.
detective ho: ah, I'm still working as a detective ( aka.. hmm, so I didn't get caught....)

3. Did I get a promotion?
( I think this is the biggest clue-- throughout his detective career- i guess that he never made a mark. Even tho the young detective Nam Soon Woo was praising him for his career as a detective.
So, I'm guessing he became a serial killer to make a mark or something. Also after detective Ji came back from the past. He was catching all the criminals and knowing who to catch and where to catch them. So I had a thought that MAYBE JUST MAYBE.. DETECTIVE JO WAS JEALOUS? also because he was working with Shin Ga Hyun instead of HIM.. his partner? Also, before the reset they said that he was lazy and now he's like catching all the criminals.
Also Go Jae Young says he saw the criminal face and that it was Hyung Jo.
HE was the one who suggested to do the hypnosis to recognize the criminal face.
When he kidnapped Jae Young.. he seemed angry saying that you thought it was Detective's Ho's face?)

Something that I don't understand is...
1. Detective Ho in this timeline was like so i have to kill according to this list. He saw Kim Se Rin crying and said " so she's next" .. Meaning he doesn't seem to know whose the next person dieing without looking at that paper that JHJ wrote. I'm not sure if detective Jo wrote.
2. Detective Ho didn't seem to think to become a serial killer until Bae Jung Tae had mentioned that in August someone was going to die. So, i think this really motivated him to become the serial killer.

I do think that everything is going to be reset going back to the original timeline.

It would be interesting if Detective Ho tries to kill Ga Hyun the moment the phone rings saying that Hyung Jo is at the police station. He asked you to question him.

Or Hyung Jo says he wants detective Ho to interrogate him but lets call for him in 30 minutes.

I always thought that the criminal was one of the detective's coworkers.

i remember somethings from the first ep that i thought was strange that I wanted to pointed out but keep forgetting the small details...

whenever someone goes outside the police station there's a sign that says" trusted police.. something something safety" Yes probably every korean drama in front of the police station has a sign like this. But I always thought it was suspicious because I believed that one of the criminal was the detective's coworkers.It is always translated whenever we have a scene in front of the police station. This episode where Go Jae Young got arrested but set free because of some higherups shows we cant trust polices.

That police guard that is with them.. ( the one that has his desk facing the door... so he would be the first person to see) he has been a red flag from ep 1. In the beginning i think I saw him bump into someone rather harshly at a crime scene or something. Did you see him after Go Jae Young was realized he saw the detectives discussing in the office and he quickly read the scene and left. He probably a spy for the higherups or someone else.

in the beginning i thought the psychiatrist was just doing an experiment on our subjects. The before and after effect of the reset. For example how Ga Young lives her life now that she is no longer handicap.

The old grandpa brought up a good point.. maybe to the psychiatrist is doing this to keep her child " a child" so they never grow up. With that theory I had a feeling that one of the 2 females in the group was possibly her daughter all grown up? The psychiatrist never wants her to grow up and prevents her child to get to a certain age. But that theory went out the window.

A big hint I believe is was when the psychiatrist FIRST went into her daughter's room and she was not there. The only thing remaining was her TRAIN all scattered / messy on her bed. ( Daughter is dead)
**she did some thing and the next time she visited her daughter THE SECOND TIME.. she got a bit startled but somehow knew her daughter was in the cabinet. **
I always thought how odd it was that the psychiatrist picked that certain date as the reset. The phone call that she made to her subjects about the train crashing... I'm wondering if that is the date everyone in the group died on that train.
I also think she can somehow go to the future and the past.

imagine if it was one of the detective coworkers... that would be mind blowing.
The old man said like family is the only thing that is important-> i think one of his long distance family child or grandchild is here.
the game obsessed boy -> said he wants to beat someone i think his rival is the orange hair girl.

i feel like if it isn't the psychiatrist then i think it is the driver, the maid, pregnant women,
the orange hair girl.

1. when they fall of the cliff do you think that the psychiatrist also goes back into time? If this is true then the driver will also be sent back.
2. the maid that closed the clinic door quickly there's something there. She's so suspicious.
3. How about the pregnant women who decided to not do this program? do you think she was like in the trunk of the car who went back in time. She would of not be pregnant.
4. do you think that one of the people that are supposedly dead is really dead? do you think that someone acted out their own death?

The orange hair girl seems suspicious the way that she asked the real estate women to keep in contact when a certain apartment is available. The apartment that she wants prob belongs to someone in the group. Maybe a connection there?
One by one everyone seems to be dieing so she probably thinks this person would die first so she asked the real estate women to keep her updated.
Also, the last scene when she walked out and the flower came in. I think she was the one who got it delivered. Perhaps its the orange hair girl + the maid

i was disappointed in this movie...

there's a lot of articles that states that there's another season.. but I don't see the big major wellknown sites stating this like soompi, allkpop, etc.
Maybe just in case another season doesn't happen they will end it in someway so it wont disappoint the viewers.
