It is interesting because before this news came out about How Do You Play getting a revamp...
Yoo Jae Suk in his youtube channel ( his company YT channel where he comes and just talks with other celebrities ) he mentioned about programs doing a revamp whether it is by changing members or changing producers,etc.
He wants to quit the show with all the previous cast because of all the hardships that everyone went through but he has to keep running the show.
That he feels a bit hurt when he's the only one that remaining to continue the show. He can't really say or show that he's sad but has to keep moving forward.

I really loved and think this was a powerful cast:
YJS, Haha, Jun Joon Ha, Mi Joo, and Bong Sun

Lee Yi Kyung was also a really good addition to the cast. I really like his dynamic to the group but I really dont like Jin Joo here.

There's news about How Do You Play changing cast members due to low ratings. It seems like only Yoo Jae Suk, Haha, and Mi Joo are staying. New cast members will be added to the show but have not been revealed as of now.
edit: i guess they decided to keep Lee Yi Kyung & Jin Joo and kick out the other two older members.

Exactly what I’m thinking.. she should go to the other team and form an alliance. Is it just now her team mates realize that she’s won all her death matches? And she’s the one that’s frequently getting picked to go.
I’m sure the ex- outdoor team notice her..
I hope she has a battle with Jin Hyeong whether it’s in a death match or the main game so people take her seriously.
I don’t think she’ll win a death match with Jin Hyeong tho. The second death match she kind of got lucky. She memorized some numbers but also got lucky as well

it's like a mix of Mr&Mrs.Smith ( American movie ) , Spy x Family ( Japanese ), Highkick ( Korean sitcom - especially the family vibes. Also, another korean drama but i cant remember the name right now.

I hope so.. it would be interesting to see a Jung Pal vs Jang Jun… both are very similar in personality but I think Jung pal is a little less smarter tho.
I hope to see Jung Pal having two future apprentices; one exactly like Moo Sik and one who was the old Jung pal.. it would be an interesting combo.

I honestly thought that Yang Jung Pal was going to forever be beside moo sik and that he would stay loyal to the end. I also thought that Oh Seung Hun would be in his side at the end and fight for him.

Btw do you think that Yang Jung Pal when he went downstairs to his boss’s basement to collect something. He saw something and now he’s trying to break into it to use against him. Remember his convo with Lee Sang Gu where he asked with what evidence is he going to capture the boss. He know it’s not enough so he went downstairs to break that gate.
But I think Moo Sik knows and puts a trap there.

Is it going to end right when Cha Mu Sik gets framed for murder exactly word by word as it is written in the synopsis?.
Because there’s no need to do anything else because there’s going to be season 2 right?

used to be able to watch kdramas without "anticipating anything out of the ordinary" lets say I was watching this at a public gym and was shocked. I was frantically holding unto the skipped ahead 10 secs.
It used to be kdramas were PG-13 while the Korean movies were the rated R ones. But since netflix entered into the kdramas world they really changed kdramas. Especially those from Netflix and Disney+.

I think I read somewhere that Netflix is going to split future shows ( the Netflix originals ) by releasing partial episodes compared to all the episodes at once.
So for example this show they would release 1-4 and then the following week 5 &6.

I’m pretty sure they going to do something like this when Squid Games comes out. Prob hold on to releasing the final episode one week later.

For example: let’s say she went to school to study for the SAT exam. In the original we never seen her go to the school. In the extended versions it shows her in the school. Does it make a difference? Maybe? Depends on the person.

For reference it’s the same story with just 2-4 new additional scenes per episode.
So, your not really missing out. I watched ep 1 and it was the same except for like 2-3 added scenes. It wasn’t enough for me to continue rewatching the same series just for those 2-3 new scenes per episode.

i dont think she should end up with anyone but knowing she's pretty much the main drama and "the pretty one" out of the group her love story prob end in a happy note

im thinking everyone here is a match for another whether it is occupation, age, etc.
- hanui and taeyang "had/ has " a bit of a similar occupation
- i cant recall her name.. but the other girl who was in the basement ( not the one that was revealed to be a freelance weather woman ) . I'm betting she works in a farm or does some labor occupation as Hanu.
So, far we've been revealed about occupation. We dont know if anyone is lying about their age.

Maybe the husband is American and they thought she would move to the U.S now?

maybe chango's parents ( whether biological or foster ) requested to save him.

it seems like the mayor will soon later get his revenge on the elder.. we still dont know what side the mayors wife is on now? But seeing how she changed after going to the underground lab.. she might now be on his husband's side to destroy the elder.

i think there must be a reason why they showed the flashback of their past.. Like you said that there must be something there. We don't know if the milk scene before the scene where Chango was in the police station and Miho helped him. I would of thought if the milk scene was before both will recognize each other but they don't which was odd.

I think that the group of orphanages turned out to be the gang member with big mouse being the leader. Maybe as you said is organized by Changho's twin.
The scene that always in the back of my head is the first episode.. where Changho dressed in a suit was looking out the window and we could hear his narrative.

i've suspected from the beginning that the reason why the cancer ward all the patients families were forced into signing the DNR was in related to something with the elderly..
The elderly showed that he's missing one leg and now the pieces are slowly getting put together. I think the mayor's wife is waiting for a match one day with one of the patient. They take the blood of these patients and go to the secret lab. Maybe their making a new leg for the elderly.
Does the head nurse have two jobs? One at the hospital and the other one as a mental hospital assistant?
