Possibly, I am in India and if a girl is choosing engineering stream, then it is common for them to go for cse/ee branches, women in engineering are less, but cse/ee has best sex ratio compared to other branches. My father too wanted me to take cse instead of other branches.
I saw it’s scenes somewhere and thought ML was young Yang Yang (I have watched you are my glory long ago) and this drama is old maybe 5-10yrs, I completed whole series thinking ML is Yang Yang and drama is old. They try to explain every situation in CS terms, normal people do not talk like that, atleast not anyone in my circle. 3. Their whole portrayal of cse being difficult for girls is a culture shock, because cse/ee has good sex ratio compared to other engineering streams like mechanical or civil, maybe they meant female engineer and not programmer.
