Interestingly I had the opposite problem. I binged LITA just before love sea (also for fortpeat!) and then had to adjust to seeing nong sky play a much older tongrak 🤣

I’m enjoying this series so much! The island setting is so lovely and the sex scenes are SPICY. Fortpeat nail both the banter and the sweet tender scenes. They’re feeding me everything, idk what more I could want

Blueming is the kind of show that makes you wanna take a deep breath, exhale and keep on keeping on. Perfectly angsty whilst keeping it light at the same time, idk how they did it but it sure was satisfying. Glad I watched it ^^

Actually has the best theme song I've ever heard in a BL. The MV hits hard in a way I did not expect, it literally gave me chills. I really enjoyed the show too, but I keep coming back for the MV specifically heh

Hellooo we are here :D I fell in love with this couple bc I grew really fond of yongjie later in the series and wanted to give him whatever he wanted LOL (this must be how xingsi feels smh)

That's your opinion on the second couple and that's totally fine. I personally loved both CPs and can understand why people would say they are similar. Aside from the whole non blood brothers dynamic, there were some similar scenes I noticed on my H4CTY rewatch like:

The older brother’s reaction to the younger’s yearning. Qian: “Isn’t it tiring to love him?” vs Xingsi: “If it’s so painful why don’t you stop loving him?” Both older brothers’ hearts ache for their younger brothers, and both younger brothers assert that they can’t just stop loving the person they love. Like it or not, the older is obviously very 心疼 towards the younger in both series.

Letting go as a sign of maturity. Both xiaoyuan and yongjie come to accept that the person of their affections may never love them back the way they want, and both are willing to stay by their side regardless, with yongjie deciding he’ll be okay with the little bro role and xiaoyuan wanting nothing more than to stay by Qian’s side even if Qian eventually starts his own family.

I agree that the overall flavor of the two CPs are wildly different, with yongxing CP having way more red flags, but I was very excited to find the similarities. Half the time whilst rewatching yongxing CP I was thinking “damn this reminds me of xiaoyuan”. (The other half was basically “damnnn xiaoyuan would NEVER do that” LOL) But if you’re like me and enjoy problematic ships as much as wholesome ones the similarities can definitely be felt.

As far as I know we only got a glimpse of the tattoo at his side.

Fun fact, I went back to check the NC scene and Yuan’s bracelet jumps from his left wrist to his right in between shots 😅 Wonder if they switched it halfway because they wanted to keep his tattoos hidden in the angle filmed (or maybe a mirrored shot?)
