This obviously isn't a 9.2 but people don't want to let go of that magic they felt from the first episodes no…
You really articulated what I feel about this drama. I really wanted rate this a 7 for the "lazy writing" (in my opinion) in the last few episodes but remembering how excellent the earlier episodes, I needed to give this a solid 8/10
I thought i could turn blind eye to the whole jang thing but the more i think the more it's make less sense. In…
I agree with you on Attorney Jang. Being an evil superior is one thing, but he is completely useless and dumb that he's actually unrealistic. Sure, people can be greedy for power, recognition and money etc but seeing him being dumb in the court not being able to deliver good points really irks me. He doesnt even look like a lawyer. Bad plot device :/
I have mixed feelings about this drama having season 2. First of all, I hope the season 2 will be entirely new. For example, Dr Romantic and soon, Taxi Driver. They have (/will have) 2 seasons but they did not leave any unanswered questions at the end of the season.
Now, EAW could clean the mess and sort the conflicts in 16 episodes, however we are left with only one more episode for them to wrap everything up. I will enjoy season 2 if they don't prolong the conflicts here and finish everything tonight. But we'll see. Honestly, if they left us with open ending or some plotholes just to justify the season 2, I am going to be disappointed.
before i watch ep 15; i just want to say that earlier, i really hoped that youngwoo's relationship with her father will develop. however, down to the last two episodes, we still barely got interactions between the two and im kinda disappointed for that :(
i just dont understand where all the theories of minwoo or junho (or even att jung) being youngwoo's brother come from. first of all, the brothet should be younger than youngwoo (this rule out everyone) and even if we are not sure of their age, tae sumi said that her son is interested in computer and not law ((this practically rule out everyone in hanbada)) lmao
tbh i think they will all need to break up with each other at the end. im curious to see if theres any couple that will stay.
jiyu x doyeong - i hate their relationship the most. i would like to put all the blame on doyeong but as much i like jiyu, she really needs to sort out her shit and being more open about her feelings instead of bottling them up.
hyogi x yunseul - i dont think they will work out seeing how both of them even choose each other as who they think will leave the original partner lmao
hyeyeon x taewan - do i need to say more... if they somehow managed to sort their shit and stay together at the end i will say its the biggest plot twist?
huihyeon x jeonghun - tbh this one is a 50/50. i wpuld say they are the realest couple among all (even the only couple i actually would support if they decided to stay bcs still love each other). however their problem is a serious one and i do think that the best decision for them will be to break up with each other. but i still love them for being open and honest, i think they have the best communication.
that was... meh? i was expecting a refreshing remake, as i was super invested on the unification of the north and south, but it didn't deliver what i thought it will. overall its kinda exactly the same plot with the og ((well duh it's a remake, but i kinda expect smtg diff here and there yknow))
it was an okay remake though, nothing special but not bad BAD. park haesoo as berlin carried the show me. the professor is kinda underwhelming, tokyo is less annoying (like that about her), the others are just okay? really hate that they gotta split them into two parts like whats the point???? and they dont tell us the release date either (or did they?)
not quite satisfied with the ending at first but the last few minutes changed my mind. the smol reunion between four of them is so on-brand with their characters, so witty and cute makes me almost hoping for a season 2 lmaooo but anw i love this drama, thank you for the good 8-week ride
that was eh... all i hope is they will wrap it up nicely tomorrow. kinda sad thinking that they need to squeeze joonggil-ryeon plot and joonwoong final(?) moment all in just one episode. seemed a bit rushed for me but i hope they will nail it tomorrow

noooo why are the joseon people so cruel? the women were dragged to another country, literally fought and risked their lives just so they can go back home.... only to be discriminated like that by their own people gahhhh its better if they drink the poison then, faster way to die with no humiliation. gossiping is one thing but the fact that they even stoned them to death wtf
Rant after watching ep 8 and the preview for next week;
I hate PJY. I totally understand if she hates PTY given that she caused her accident. However, I think she should not put the blame wholly on Taeyang. I am in no way trying to justify Taeyang's action but Junyoung, to some extent, is also accountable for her own injury. She's an athlete, so she should know that when she encountered the injury, she should not stop Taeyang from calling the hospital just because they are scared for disciplinary action 🙄
Also, Taeyang is wrong for not calling the hospital immediately but I kinda understand why she did that. She was young, immature and her beloved friend tell her not to call, so of course she didnt. In the end, I think they are both responsible for their actions.
Now that Junyoung is back, she can hate Taeyang all she wants but I think it is selfish for her to prevent Taejun from getting close with Taeyang. All these years she cut off her relationship with ther brother, now she wants to use her sister card on Taejun? Lol. Anyways it might be too early to know but this is based on the preview. Hopefully Junyoung is actually better than this
i like the storyline in s2 more but the debate and the topics in s1 is more interesting. overall, i really enjoy watching these two dramas. for me its rare to see debate-centered drama so this is kinda refreshing

im shocked to see the low rating here, started watching without knowing anything about the plot but im loving it. mijeong is the first fictional character that i can relate to, it feels as if the writer took my thoughts and put it into the script (except im not brave enough to ask someone to worship me). some might find this story dark and depressing due to the lack of happy scenes but for some reason i found comfort.
goodbye 2521, im gonna miss you a lot. thank you for all the emotions, both happy and sad that you gave me. ending this with a 9.5 out of 10, a beautiful drama indeed. (brb crying and creating an alternate ending in my head)
trust me, in the alternate world, after yijin and heedo reconciled at the bus stop, they continue to contact each other, and rekindle their love. baek minchae is an excellent ballet prodigy. the end
