I get so many butterflies whenever I watch the leads. Their chemistry is just oozing
I can understand why some people think it's overrated. Most k-dramas are full of twists and crazy things that happen each episode but this drama is more of a laid back romance and the events flow more naturally and more realistic. But I think that's also one of its charms. Despite the less crazy flow of events that usually happen in k-dramas, this drama still keeps your attention and makes you want more. I think a big reason for that is the leads' acting and their chemistry.

This drama just makes you want to fall in love lol

Really liking this drama. I didn't expect anything when I started watching this but I find myself really enjoying this. It's so funny, but also very heart warming. I also love how there's no angst, but rather it's a very lighthearted watch. The poems they introduce are all really good as well.

I just realized that this is ending soon...
I expected a darker/deeper plot, or something more...
I'm still watching it, but I don't think it made me like any of the characters enough to really care for them. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse :/

I seriously wished they showed a little bit of what could have happen in the future after they met again... like maybe a scene with the baby again which we thought was their future baby T-T or if anything, some kind of reunion scene at least. Just something... I don't even care how much time would have passed before their reunion but I just wished they showed some of that...

Ending left me empty and unsatisfied :(
They didn't even have enough time spent together without the doubt of the geumganggo... Seong Mi only had like a minute after she found out about OG's real feelings before they were separated again T-T this couple deserved more happy scenes where they can actually freely show each other's feelings without any doubt or worries :(

Well actually fate can be changed, if anyone can change fate I believe Oh Gong can, and not to mention Ma Wang…
I just finished watching Ep 18 and I have more hope now especially after what the peddler said to Oh Gong about how everything can go differently :) I think Ep 18 changed a lot of my opinion on what's going to happen ^^

Title A Korean Odyssey Spoiler
Haven't watched Ep 18 yet so this can (and prob will change after) but current thoughts...

First of all, it's already been said that nothing can change the death bell fate so one of them probably will die.

As for who, I think it will be Sam Jang. She will still die, despite OG's efforts in preventing it and having himself die in her stead. My current prediction is that they will still follow their fate. After all, it's Heaven's Will. There's been so many foreshadowing done already + the new OST by Mackelli (I totally recommend looking up the lyrics!).

OG will somehow have to kill her using the sword, maybe because she (or her blood) will be playing an important role in keeping that evil thing alive and the only way that the evil will be stopped is to kill her, thus the sacrifice. If the GGG hasn't been taken off by then, the pain that OG will suffer through when he kills her will be the most pain as extreme punishment Heaven wants him to experience. GGG will disappear once Sam Jang dies, but because he still loves her even without it, he will still continue to suffer from the pain. Heaven probably will eventually forgive him after that punishment and he regains his status back as deity. In Heaven, Sam Jang was probably made into a deity as reward for her sacrifice and there, Sam Jang and OG will probably meet again. In regards to their future baby, I think Sam Jang will probably be pregnant when D-Day comes and she dies. She'll probably give birth to the baby in Heaven and OG will meet his son once he and SJ meets again.

I'm seriously looking forward to how this will all play out. Still deeply wishing for a happy ending between the two as well as for Ma Wang.

[SPOILER FOR EP 17--don't read this if you haven't watched the ep]

Can someone explain to me some things? I'm a little bit confused. Is the dragon (aka a demon) being summoned supposed to take over Kang Dae Sung's body? Is that why Oh Gong said to Oh Jeong that the evil spirit needs a human body with great influence to possess?

Why is Oh Gong suddenly helping Ah San Nyeo and KDS? How is helping KDS prevent Sam Jang's death? After the preview for Ep 18, Ma Wang said that Oh Gong is preparing to die in place of Sam Jang? How is helping KDS and ASN do this?

Not sure whether to get back to watching this... I had a hard time getting through the first several episodes. Think I finished the first 7 or 8 eps. I watched and finished Reply 1988 recently and I loved it. Should I give this another chance? Does it pick up more on the later episodes? I don't know why but the characters never interested me as much as the characters in 1988 did. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure I already know who Shi Won ends up with.

I still have Post Drama Depression from this... It was so good, it's so hard to get over the PDD. This drama just blew my mind. I've always loved watching dramas set in the 1930s so personally, I loved both periods but I especially loved more every single bit of scenes from the 1930s, Such an amazing performance from an amazing set of actors and actresses.Totally rewatching this!

[Out of topic but I really loved Yoo Ah In's character from the past. His character was just full of mystery. Not to mention, the hair AHHH =)) ]

Totally recommend this to everyone!! Probably one of my all time favourites now <3

Happy with the ending but feeling a little bitter cause I wanted to see the parents' reactions when they found out about Taek and Dukseon's relationship. Also wanted to see more of their relationship :( Not to mention, they didn't show/mention of Jung Hwan in the present time. But apart from that, this drama ended really well. I like all the themes they included. It wasn't just about love. It had a little bit of everything...love, family, friendship, youth/growing up, finding your own identity, etc. Awesome drama!

The chemistry between Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung was unbelievably good <3
I didn't expect that I'm gonna love this drama this much when I first decided to watch it. For those of you who haven't watched this yet, START RIGHT NOW. NO REGRETS.

My last word to this drama: SWAGGGGGGGGG!

I love both male leads. I usually don't get a second male lead syndrome but this drama is an exception, especially with Go Gyeong Pyo's smile at the end of ep 4 and the preview for ep 5 XD though I still won't totally mind if she ends up with the first lead^^

I can't wait for next week's ep! I truly think that this is pretty underrated. I can already tell that this is one of those dramas I wouldn't mind watching over and over again for the laughs. I hope it continues to be this good! :)
