I like WHZ acting but this ML character in this story is such a coward and abused the poor FL character so much. FL also gave him too many chances.
Even up to last 5 mins when she was supposedly ok with leaving for Paris to start a new life and he texted her to wait for him, she was so excited and kept calling him multiple times back. Women who truly make up their minds don’t keep turning back.
Her BFF DanDan made sense. Why forgive him so easily after all,the horrible things he did to her.
Don’t watch if you expect redeemable ML or expect HEA. I would have preferred they didn’t leave it ambiguous at the end at the flower shop implying they have a chance, should have made the ending as she flew to Paris and never looked back.
IMO this production worst out of the three there is currently. I love Chen Si but quality and sound and editing was abysmal. For completeness I would watch Meng Na version as it includes up to them actually getting divorce licence, for awesome Zhao Xuan Zhou (Zhang Chi) character watch the Mo Ning version.
