idk if he says disgusting or nasty bc im watching with pt subs but i think i have a point
i don't think victoria's talking about the actors though, she means kiyoi avoids hira's cheesy lines with "disgusting" coz he doesn't know what to say (or might be too shy to give a proper response.)
i respect your opinion! but I'm loving kieta's plot (extremly different to utsukushii's) and the acting is heavily manga based so I can't compare them.
Netflix is supposed to be doing a major addition of Jdramas, I just went to recommend this movie.https://help.netflix.com/en/titlerequest?ui_action=title-suggestion-quicklinksNetflix…
I've only watched the first episode so far but I have one thing to say: the pilot was everything it needed to be, I liked that! I'm enjoying their dynamic as well.
the most unrealistic thing in this entire series was Yuu playing football with his friend and not passing out after working in three star books for probably 8 hours AND THEN working at his part-time job for 5 hours until 3 am, is he a superhuman of some sort??
Can't believe a lot of ppl dropped this coz they found it boring, just binged watched ep 5 and 6 and they were SO hilarious, especially ep 5 lol honestly, I just wanted to keep watching coz I want Reiko san to confess to Mamoru SO BAD even if she gets rejected, just to make her canonically a sapphic. I hate we're getting hints of her liking Mamoru but she has so little screentime and we barely know things about her, she could be a really interesting character.
that last scene was so much fun, but when they called the dish "my sweet dear" I CRINGED SO HARD the series is good, should have been longer and chef choi winning the competition left a bittersweet aftertaste, just like how he intended his dish to be i guess. i did like it but i wouldn't necessarily rewatch it, the ost was great though
the book authors refused to let filmania change parts of the book (probably the super problematic ones lmao) and they weren't getting payed (maybe due the lack of sponsorship and because actors were only doing workshops at the moment) so they stopped working with them. and now that be on cloud took over apparently they're treating the authors better BUT they're still gonna change the problematic parts (THANKFULLY).
