are you terrified of watching? because I was yesterday and my head still hurts but it was so worth it haha. I'll just say she also liked sek and always thought she was meant to have the land. she sees jeff as someone that continues to ruin her life, and she doesn't pity him at all
you are dumb..timing matters.. if a show comes before and did achieve sthg at its own time which was rare.. it…
I never said I cared about bad buddy enough to call it a masterpiece, or not. I said it's unrelated, and it is, that's a series and this is a movie. Rating it accordingly, coming from someone that watches from gmmtv as well, it's a pretty good series, great if you will. Not that you cared about my opinion really. Now I see that they're capable of doing even more though, like thamepo, but bad buddy was great when it came out and I really like the ost because well, it's Nanon.
so yes jeff's boyfriend (sek) dies, and in their hearts they were married with a ring and everything, but in the eyes of thai law and society they were just friends, so sek's mom takes the land, in which jeff (thongkam) had built his house; he also gave a lot of money to invest in the durian orchard but it was all "sek's land" and there was "no substantial proof that it was also his, so it now belonged to sek's mom. the caregiver (engfa) wanted to own the land once she passed so she made his life hell in the orchard. I don't want to spoil you why she did it but yeah the ones that died are sek, sek's mom and mo's (engfa) brother. jeff's character of course tries to manipulate them, but in the end hes just hopeless to his circumstances, no matter how hard he tried it never went his way. the movie is so frustrating but is a must watch in my opinion
it is a masterpiece, nothing to do with bad buddy btw.
a masterpiece is a work done with "extraordinary skill", not an unflawed material, and I do see where you're coming from so don't get me wrong, I'm talking as someone that likes the director because I previously watched I Told Sunset About You and I loved his attention to detail. I really liked this movie, but I also don't really pay attention to terminology that much like if I really like something that has to do with my perception and not how objectively good that film really is, so just ignore my post idk that's fine too.
I got a meltdown because of the first part of the movie, mind you I had never cried out of stress because of a movie. The ending was a little too crazy. The first part feels like an anxiety nightmare, the second part is kind of okay and the third part is a depression nightmare (horror movie). I'm trying to process all of it, just rewatched Jeff's Rain Wedding MV and couldn't stop crying, I just wonder what was going on in Boss Kuno's brain when he decided to make this movie, what an insane guy (I looooooooooooooove his works, specially ITSAY). Engfa's acting was exceptional, I never thought I'd hate one of her roles, let alone that she would make my blood boil, what a great actress. Needless to say I also loved Jeff, he's such a great actor and has amazing chemistry with any of this costars. What a great movie, it's just that it made my head hurt and kinda dehydrated me, don't expect to be sane by the end of it. For me it's more of a tale on greed, but I loved Thongkam trying his best despite all of the bad stuff he was going through. At many times it made me think "if he had just left this wouldn't have scalated", "if she had left them alone this would't have happened" and I mean they had many choices you know, even Thongkam's mom points it out, but I get the characters in the end, I just wish it was less tragic. I have a lot to think about tonight, if you read the whole thing thank youuu. :]
my hope is that they're just waiting for a good script, but honestly if they don't come back this was a good legacy lol I'll just rewatch To Sir, With Love to feel something again
it took me a rewatch to finally appreciate the secondary couple lol. it was a cute watch, though in hindsight, now that I've seen To Sir, With Love, I wouldn't change that one for anything hehe. I really love their chemistry & hope they get more projects together, even if not as a couple, even if they're rivals that have to kill each other:(( also happy thai gay people can now get married, may tinncharn be happy for evermore
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT WAS THE FINALE??? not because I couldn't believe we'd have a sad ending but it just feels inconclusive? like there should be more idk anyway I really liked that Tiw didn't hate doc, he couldn't bring himself to do it because the law IS flawed and he understands his mom was suffering.
