Thanks so much for this letter. I was deciding to take a break and relax so I could start sleeping early. I agree with everything you just said and know you have reached so many drama fans like myself who struggle with time management and a health sleep routine.
Awesome article, so true about the drama (hopeful) boyfriend) indeed, but either Xiao Nai or Crown Prince Hyo Myeong (Love in the Moonlight) are so hard to decide. Hmm! Wait what am I saying hands down Park Bo Gum!
Thank you so much for the article. I was only a couple days ago saying I having seen or heard of any new dramas from her, but this came just in time. Thanks again for the detailed report of her skill and recent works.
I love to watch any sort of drama with a sensible plot, so I can sacrifice some time in finishing the drama to the very end. Although, I do pause in deciding when to watch dramas with 50+ episode because i need a good reason to watch a show that long, and not face regret with having my time wasted over frustration.
I'm in total agree over fear of looooooonng episodes and the dump shelf called "on hold list" for disappointments.
My opinion is there is a time and place for each drama; especially, with drama withdrawal occurring when you least expect it. I like any show that has a good story and cast producing the the best drama for the audience. But there are times when I have a kdrama, chdrama or jdrama appetite without need for the others. We can't possible decide to compare between the two version of drama shows when they have different cultures as seen in the each show.
So, the article was thought provoking, but in my opinion they both have their merits.
LOL! I would so watch a drama like this. But to add to the plot we we need to have some twist that throws views off like having the murder be connected to invaders from neighboring country using information within the gisaeng world to from a secret takeover.
The sudden interruptiont when the secret is about to be brought to light. Only to get a phone call, or someone walks in on them. Also the cellphone being turned off or in a bag when a crucial phone call is coming. Plus police having a warrant for arrest but no one every reads the document. Why drama writers! Whhhyyy!!!!
Great Article. When I read the intro my first thoughts were on your last three examples " It started with a kiss" in all three versions. I'm glad someone wrote on this topic, because I've become very disturbed when the leading or even supporting female roles are abused verbal and then slapped around both by the leading male, family and friends. Plus the reasons for slapping them are not even that serious when explained. More TALKING Please.
