So far I like this cause it is quite different from the Guest. To compare, The Guest: - Casualties every episode. - Spotlight = police - Revealed relationships and backgrounds of the protagonists from the beginning. - Few people believes in ghosts and supports exorcism. - No romance but bromance. - Some cliche acts (like going somewhere alone and die) Priest (so far): - No one is dead (in the past, yes). - Spotlight = church and hospital - No idea what their backgrounds are. - Characters are quite open around ghosts.(like they joked about it) - Probably romance? - High-tech equipment, well prepared characters, and doesn't do things recklessly.
I think I kept on watching this show just to see the happy couple...NOT the main one, but the security officers'. I really liked them both being awkward lol
One thing you forgot to mention was the braveness of the crews and OCN to broadcast such drama with full of graphic and horror contents. It could have been easily called off.
I'm 30 mins into the drama and honestly I just can't tolerate it anymore. The first part with eye and stuff was…
To summarize, like everyone is saying, the first episode is inarguably SCARY (cause you have no idea what is going on). After that, you will understand the whole situation, and what the plot is. I should say, yes, it has graphic scenes every episode, not just blood but vomits and etc...(dont want to spoil), but things like jumpscares and shuddering scenes, are minimal. If you watch until episode 4, I am pretty sure you will get used to those graphic contents, and like I did, you will be anticipating to have those scenes every episode lol. I really recommend you to watch this show in a cold dark room alone with earphones, at night. (BTW, most of the scenes are dark, so you will find it difficult to watch in a bright place.)
Seriously, I totally understand if you don't want to watch this. But if the actors past is not a deal breaker…
Yeah, the plot is so far OKAY for me. I kinda get bored during the reapers' scene, but for the main couple's relationship, I just want to keep on watching.
This drama was oddly satisfying to watch, despite its genre. The casts, music, and espicially the cinematography combined, it was outstanding. What I really liked was that the drama didn't hesitate to show those graphic scenes and kept on broadcasting every episode. The braveness to do that on TV, I really respect the producers and crews who worked on this masterpiece. For those who haven't watched this drama yet, I want to say, it is not simply a kdrama version of the Exorsist. It really reminds us how one's words and actions can be harmful to others, and everyone is the same.
Yo, don't write a review if you've dropped the show... You simply wrote your first impression of the show, and its characters really changed throughout the episodes. Plus, it is a TV show , so its cinematography will be inevitably cheaper and less surprising than horror movies. What do you think will happen if a TV show starts to have jump scares and uncensored scenes? Overall, I think the crews did a great job filming the show, with limited amount of time.
How do you describe this drama? Cause it is not just a simple horror/ thriller drama, but I cannot find a way to express the characteristic of this show. To my friends but all I can say is that it is a show that has grotesque and bloody scenes every episode, which I think it's not a great way to recommend the show lol. Even on twitter, I can't post screenshots of those scenes cause twitter censors them...
I know the drama had a slow start and the show itself had off screen issues beforehand. Also, the logic of stopping time has few question marks (like although he has been stopping time for many occasions before meeting her, she didn't have issues with those occasions). BUT people, it's just a fantasy drama so why don't we just accept everything non-scientific and just enjoy the story? I am simply watching this show cause the casts are "fresh" to me, plus I'm interested in how the couple's relationship will develop.
I really want to watch this but..... can you give me one more push? I'm kinda hesitating cause it's basically a relationship between a robot and a human right? Or am I wrong? I know it is also about a mother's (overwhelming) love, but even considering that, I am still hesitating....
Just give me one good reason why I have to watch this!!!!
I just have a theory :I think that the person who attack her at the end of ep 14 isn't the brother but the assistant…
I think that's a great suspicion cause the way the assistant faded away in ep 14 at the back room was quite weird... (tho my initial feeling was that he was just a good guy who read the atmosphere and decided to leave the two alone in the back room)... Let's wait! (I can't wait... I'm dying to see the upcoming episodes....)
The Guest:
- Casualties every episode.
- Spotlight = police
- Revealed relationships and backgrounds of the protagonists from the beginning.
- Few people believes in ghosts and supports exorcism.
- No romance but bromance.
- Some cliche acts (like going somewhere alone and die)
Priest (so far):
- No one is dead (in the past, yes).
- Spotlight = church and hospital
- No idea what their backgrounds are.
- Characters are quite open around ghosts.(like they joked about it)
- Probably romance?
- High-tech equipment, well prepared characters, and doesn't do things recklessly.
I felt the plot is quite dull, but I didn't care cause I simply watched it for Kim Yoo Jung.
It could have been easily called off.

I'll tell them to watch the show alone in a dark, cold room.

I like watching World Cup, but I love watching Come and Hug Me....
Let's wait! (I can't wait... I'm dying to see the upcoming episodes....)
