I started watching dramas in Feb-March 2022 and haven't stopped since. I like watching BL and GL shows.
Also enjoy thriller, comedy, psychological and unusual themes. If you come across a strange rating for a drama, please be aware I score things based on enjoyment. Not only that, my tastes differ, but my mains are shows from Thailand and Japan. I'm trying to learn Japanese right now (and planning on learning Thai later on), even if lately I haven't been doing my best in this regard.
If you find my profile and want to send me a friend request, don't hesitate to do so. I'm semi-active and always check my notifications. I'm sure, as I write this description, that I will delete it at some point during the year (2026). If not, maybe instead of deleting it, I can add even more to it?
I didn't use to score shows as low as 1 out of 10, but that changed this year. But don't take my scores seriously. They're really just there for reference, although I do think some of those are deserved, be it good or bad. I'd very much like to watch more dramas and movies from other MDL countries, except for China. I decided not to watch Chinese dramas anymore as they apparently contain a lot of propaganda. I don't really watch American shows anymore either, which are also full of propaganda.
I'm a mood watcher for sure. Today I was in the mood of finishing two dramas I dropped, actually. Both Japanese BLs. They were good enough, but I tend to drop series if they're currently releasing. The wait for the next episode kills the vibe for me. As you can see, I suffer from NDD (even though I have 46 dramas dropped, there used to be 82 titles there). One drama is never truly dropped for me, so I must be careful to choose dramas I will actually like.

What else can I say? I'm always on the lookout for weird dramas and movies. Unusual themes are sometimes featured in my watchlist. Indie vibes and stardust welcome. Revenged Love is a BL I love. I don't talk about it much anymore, but jsyk it's one of the best BLs ever made. As for GLs, I am enjoying a few, but none really made my heart jump for joy for long. I don't know why. I enjoyed some GL movies (The Handmaiden, Love My Life, Butterfly) and some GL series (Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko comes to mind right now), but they're not re-watches nor are they things I think about a lot, but I do think about them occasionally. I think that's good enough.
Purposely writing a text wall again. I wonder who will read it all? Most people don't have the patience to read so much lately. This reminds me, I have a Storygraph and Letterboxd accounts, so feel free to ask about them. I have been trying to document what I watch and read for a while now, but my lists are incomplete. Probably even my watchlist is not as complete as I'd like it to be.
So, that's it. I like some stuff, I dislike some others. Nothing too interesting or unique, I'm simply another drama fan. One day I hope to visit Japan and Thailand, but key word is "one day". I feel like I need to know the languages first to a decent level and also have some money for the trips. But I bet it's going to be amazing.
My favorite Japanese BL is Utsukushii Kare. My favorite Thai BL? A few come to mind. I'll just say The Blue Hour movie for now. I am in love with the atmosphere of certain dramas and movies and I think about them often. Since I don't currently have a job, my time is dedicated to mostly drama watching. Although for 2026, that will have to change. In any case, I'm grateful for having found out about dramas back in 2022. Having something to look forward to is always nice. If anyone cares, I'm a Taurus sun, Aquarius moon and Scorpio rising. I'm Ravenclaw and INFJ-T.
Oh and I'm always looking for butch/masculine women in GLs. Please recommend me some GLs that have women that don't conform to gender roles. I love to see them on screen as I, too, am gender non-conforming. I'm also bisexual. Usually I don't talk much about myself, but you might find some posts here and there about that and a lot of other things on the forums. Take them as the version of me from back then rather than an accurate depiction of my life, please. As you know, people change. So have I. Thank you for reading! <3
