Tteotm costumes was the best for me. While TSL more using pastel color in their drama. You can see the contrast in color. Well, both TSL and tteotm were my very first wuxia/xianxia drama of this year. Maybe i'll watch another one. I prefer modern drama. I heard about LBFAD, Long ballad, LLTG also good dramas. Maybe I just don't have the time to watch those dramas. Btw, it's nice to talk with you here ;)

At that time, i didn't even know Bai lu until i watched tteotm and i watched love is sweet (the modern version of luo yunxi and bai lu). To me hidden love is the best modern drama of this year. Everything is perfect, from the storyline, actor and actress and their soundtrack. I am never into wuxia/xianxia drama until i watched both TSL and TTEOTM (because around that time those drama always has longer episodes 60++)

I've heard about the novel that is actually more dark and angst.. wish they continue the series with season 2.. I'm currently on eps 5, so far this drama is ok and light.
