I really hate open endings even more than sad ones. Happy ending are best but of you cannot give it, you cannot just leave the ending in hope. It's like asking the veiwers to imagine that the twin sister did come back to life. They just gave us hope cuz it is possible that it won't happen.

I think they will, cuz all the veiwers are really pretty angry right now. They played with you, with such a nice series and shitty ending. Why can't they atleast show that they are reborn and both of them just hugging their husbands. Like they could have just added 5 minutes.
If they really do not have special ending, people would not prefer to re-watch it.

I felt the void king was kinda of brainless, like not much to his character just he liked being in power. He is powerful with not much brain. He listened to who convinced him.

What I mean is, not just the scene of youqin and chaofeng regrowing the twin flower with there power at last but need to see them both. Not a open ending, that there is a chance to bring them back.

They do, suzhi tricks yetan to guixu and opens the gate of chaos, youqin again needs to close the door but yetan stops him and dies, to stop the chaos.
There is also a spoiler that, youqin and chaofeng together are reviving yetan and qinkui with their powers.

The scene where the void king was killed was really powerful since it showed that even at last moment he was not willing to yeild, cuz if he showed love for CF and his mother, CF could have stopped her from killing but no. Also at the last moment, he was sitting on his throne before perishing away.

He was trapped which means that was really very powerful also could be because that was very god spell made by ancestors, and we could also see that because even after releasing he was not able to use his power and fainted.
