I think The first thing that he told was a lie to bu Yeon mother so that she would not do anything stupid to bring back her daughter and since he said there are two souls in the body it is possible and it makes sense as when naksu wanted to shift soul she brough another girl but nu doek was the one who's body she went into and so bu Yeon chose wanted naksu's soul in her body to probably you her to gain her energy since she is powerful and that's why even after running wild she was not dead and it was all what bu Yeon wanted. She is really clever. Now the only doubt left is how is naksu able to live, since she is supposed to be the main character in S1 and S2 too, Not bu Yeon.

Yeah for unrequited part you are right, mu doek did not show any expression or hint of her being in love, even when she confessed as if we like someone we will definitely turn soft. Even if she was arrogant and always had a cold face, when confessing you would be a little happy and your voice would have softness. Just like uk in part 1 whenever he was involved in romance his eyes would sparkle, smile and cute. I know their nature are different and he was a jolly person but still love leaves no one behind.
But part 2 really filled up that area with such intense and beautiful chemistry from both sides.
