I think so. In the novel Yan dan and yingyuan have have a relationship early one and had so many problems, yandan really sacrificed so much for yingyuan and he let her down many times and later yandan falls for yumo and they got together at the end so basically yandan choose yumo at the end. But i think they already change this and made yingyuan the hero with some changes in his character. They won't let cheng yi be 2nd lead.
