I loved this in the beginning but it's so boring now and i don't really care about any of the characters.
I'm surprised that people call out the fatphobia in this because in Bongsoon, nobody talked about the misogyny, homophobia, racism, cultural appropriation, and domestic violence. Bongsoon is the most problematic drama I've seen, so I guess this one is an improvement for the writer.
Choi Hyun Wook performances are always so raw and authentic. His ability to bring all these emotions to the screen adds so much depth and realism to his characters. What an actor
Before I say anything please add spoiler tag on it can ruin viewing experience for others . I feel like this show…
I guess will have to wait and see why he has been behaving like that. However this is a trope that i generally dislike and it has never worked for me. The "i treat you bad for your own good/x reason but i also do some good because deep down i care for you". So, I feel like it will be really hard for them to find a justification good enough for me. I also don't feel the chemistry like at all.
I don't understand why Bogeol is treating Mokha like that. You would expect Kiho to be doing the exact opposite of what he is doing. I was hoping that Kiho is Woohak, but now that it is confirmed, I am so disappointed. I also don't feel like they have any chemistry. It seems like they are going with the "I had to protect my family, that's why I hid my identity,'" and another enemies to lovers trope.
I don't know if it's a second lead syndrome case here, but I am hoping that my guesses are wrong because I am loving it so far.
It was fun in the beginning but now it's boring. The main couple is so underdeveloped that it seems odd that they are romantic with each other. Although i haaated the original it had done a better job with the couple. Nonetheless it is still less cringe than the original
There is only 6 ep leftIf a show don't click by now. You're wasting your time with a drama you don't like.
My comment clearly states 5/16. So for me there were still 11 episodes at the time i left the comment. Funnily enough it got intresting on episode 6 with Se Kyeong taking the lead
Not the one ship that had the most potential sinking the hardest...
Anyway, this is the third bl that i have finished and the first one that i actually enjoyed. The first half of the season was way better than the second and i felt the same about the chemistry of the cast. It lacked a lot in terms of writing, and it shouldn't have tried to be romantic at all imo. Instead, it should have incorporated a side mystery and focused more on its sexiness and messiness.
Side note i didn't know that there were pre established ships in these kind of dramas which is not something i am a fan of. Relationships are more fun when they come as a surprise.

What sea cleaning? I must have missed this part
