agreed on everything in your review! but may you elaborate on why you think that wooshik did not suit this role?…
thank you! for that part, it is because the cast and the movie colors differences and due to my personal preference on actor's aura 😔 when i watch police-detective show i prefer watching actor that can give out serious vibe at times but choi wooshik has this goofy-boyish charm barrier. Also, the character's writing didnt help much as it was too bland. But I don't have any problem with his acting, he is excellent one!
This is such well written article and you have a great sense in design! Those layout format is so pretty and the thumbnail especially is so eyecatching that I didn't need a second to click it. It is a fun read, I have never watched Thai show other than their normal romance, horror, and boys love genre so this is something new to me. I really enjoy your article, I will be looking forward on your next one 💖🌸 Well done!
Ty for the update. Sad to read that Kim Dami won't be acting in this movie, I think she is cut-out for this role…
She still has role but not the main heroine anymore. But i personally believe her character is still a major one like Nobleman in pt. 1 ^^ I trust in new main character, they are under the same agency and she ( Shin Si Ah ) also won over 1400 competitors same like Dami in first movie. She must be a talented one and I can't wait to see her acting with Dami 🤗
tbh we can't compare it to happiness, because it is different story trope. that drama is about fighting annoying neighbor in quarantine setting while this drama is bloody survival among zombie apocalypse.
I have written my review! My lowest rating is 6 and I gave this movie 6.5/10. I am giving extra half point for talented cast, especially Jo Jin Woong & Park Hee Soon.
It is a bit boring for mystery crime genre and there is no thrilling exciting moment for me since the beginning to ending. I don't get attached to any characters, neither the heroine or villain. There is nothing remarkable in this movie.
Is the bullying, in South Korea is normal like they have to live with it ??. Most of the Korean drama I have seen…
bullying in general is quite common, same with south korea. but there most likely happen because their overall competitive environment and "respect" culture. it is "the bully" way to win over their society. the case could be severe as extreme as spilling blood sometimes it was 'outcast' and verbal abuse.
so, is bullying normal in south korea? depends on the people if they ever counter it or not, but it happens everyday, in every country. it is just that south korea use it often for entertainment whether to raise the issue, or simply for "drama".
update regarding heroine change : Kim Dami -> Shin Si Ah
The reason the main character of the movie 'The Witch' series changed from Kim Dami to Shin Si Ah is that Warner Bros. Korea, which owns the film rights, withdrew from related businesses such as investment, production, and distribution of Korean films. Director Park Hoon-jung, who produced the movie 'The Witch', mentioned several times, "We negotiated with Warner Bros. Korea for the rights to the film, but if the negotiations fail, we plan to completely change the scenario we had prepared."
As Warner Bros., who owns the copyright, withdrew from its domestic business, the movie 'The Witch' series also overturned the existing story and produced a new one. The movie 'The Witch' series, originally planned by director Park Hoon-jung, is a three-part series, and director Park Hoon-jung said, "In the case of 'The Witch 2', we tried to increase the scale like a Hollywood movie. There was a problem because the production cost increased compared to domestic filming. Warner Bros., an investment and distribution company, proposed a budget according to the number of audiences for the first film and reconfigured the setting," he said.
"Instead of giving up filming overseas according to the budget, officials from overseas organizations will come to Korea to confront the protagonist, and focus on action with an increased budget than the first film. If everything goes as planned, it will be released in 2021."
Which wasn't released, but this issue has been resolved as I posted below this comment.
