ok im holding on to continue this series, it is too stressful for me to watch, full of scheming and bullying that my head hurts 😂 maybe this is not my cup of tea as i love sisterhood and female friendship stories better
damn... i actually was looking forward to this drama until i got to princess lin an's chapter in the novel.. :( i read that her character is childish and spoiled princess, idk how the director will execute her character, im kinda worried they will make her character too annoying tbh .. praying for tian xi wei because i love her as an actress 😭
when will she appear again in any kdrama? or movie?? she is such a baddie and I love her, can't wait for her next…

people here were talking so much about the arranged marriage between the leads so i thought it would be romance focused drama, but i just read several pages of the novel today and it is more leaning to mystery and fantasy.
beside the marriage talk, i hope people talk more about the world setting because it is so interesting and the supernatural part is the plot that push the drama which keeps the story and the romance going. the city curfew and how the humans and demons switch their times to dominance the pedestrian street, i don't understand how because i read machine translated-novel, but it seems the fl can also transform into a cat and sneak around the town to solve a mystery ( and ofc to have fun and play around XD). there is a hint of sismance with liu tai zhen, hu zhu and fl, im looking forward to see them as working partner 👌🏽
for the leads... i trust them, i love both of them as actor and actress and i know they will have amazing chemistry no doubt 😂 their characters interaction is well paced too in the novel ( this is my first time reading chinese novel, so idk if they will change it or not once getting adapted ).. anw i cant wait to see this drama
the trailer looks so dope. also, someone said the airing probably in 2025.. but they already released the trailer on december, is it common thing to have airing gap between trailer for chinese dramas?

and when they are having a date, feeling the air, just laying around without talking, without feeling uncomfortable or awkward..... THAT IS PEAK ROMANCE
we can actually clearly see how powerful tianhe, ziying, and mengli but i am mostly looking forward to lingsha's skill. she is shown as often getting possessed and having a weak body, but maybe her inner energy (?) is overwhelming, so once she gets control of it, hopefully she unveil her hidden power. so far she is my fav character and i hope we get more of her background soon.
