On We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd Apr 4, 2021
I can't believe they cut out the most important scene in the whole second season (the deleted scene in the office where shide shows shuyi his mails, talks about his step sister and explains everything about the trip to america) just to squeeze in some useless subplot about the company issue, shots of them taking showers or the whole shide putting shuyi to bed after the piggyback ride - yeah it was cute but didn't add anything to the plot... this season is such a mess, also whoever from the production team or director/writer decided to cut out that office scene was out of their mind, they are literally sabotaging their own series at this point.

I'm sorry but the plot in the second season sucks so bad, the only thing that saves this series is the main couple's chemistry and overall acting, the reasons for the characters' actions make zero sense, the writing is just weak.

Honestly that whole sexual assault, borderline rapey aspect of the sofa scene could have been completely skipped like it was not needed there. I know that some people might even find this hot but it just didn't sit well with me, especially considering that Yu's character was fighting back in the beginning and said stop (he was basically cornered in the end), Shide was pretty rough in that scene and it also made me be a bit on the fence cuz how much was that really Gao Shide and how much was that "drunk off his face" Sam (since we already know that the whole scene was ad libbed and they didn't really had a script for it). Yu's almost fear in his eyes in some moments just didn't sit right with me knowing how this scene was played out (not very professionally, Sam drinking a lot of alcohol behind the scenes, the director not really directing etc). Acting wise it was great tho, and they do have amazing chemistry, you can almost feel it through the screen, I just wish that scene would have been played out differently.

I'm sorry, but this is dependent on a failure of communication that is so implausible that it's hard to take the…
Personally I have nothing to complain about when it comes to their acting, both Yu and Sam are doing a great job with what they got from the screenwriter (actually if not for their acting and chemistry there would be nothing left to watch iibh), my biggest issue is the "non existent script", their ridiculous problems that could have been resolved with one proper conversation and the fact that there is absolutely no plausible explanation why Shi De waited 5 years to meet him again.

Every supporting couple is eating the main couple up when it comes to the chemistry and overall acting like i'm not even joking

all i'm gonna say is this rating is way, waaay too high, even leaving aside the storyline and acting... the directing, cinematography, editing was really amateurish, looked very cheap, like this series having the same rating as some of the best kdramas out there? hmmm the bar for bls be really damn low

Title Where Your Eyes Linger Spoiler
So did they just skip the fact that Taejoo stil has a girlfriend, he was kissing her in the 3rd episode?? and while being with her - there was never anything about the breakup, he still confesses to Gook later, they cuddle, talk about their feelings etc?? seems like some sort of a plot hole
Replying to vicarious May 29, 2020
How can you call this hetero when gook clearly asked tae joo to stop seducing him?
the correct subtitles are "stop provoking me", that other unoffcial translation with seducing is wrong
On Where Your Eyes Linger May 29, 2020
they really gave us the first two episodes full of moments and skinship and almost made me think well this does look kinda gay maybe there is a hope only to throw me out the window from the 10th floor with 3,4 episode. what was even this whole heterosexual nonsense why do i feel like they will be dancing around this whole "relationship" around the two guys without any type of confirmtion maybe until the very last episode... also taejoo's whole persona and attitude is kinda ugh it feels like he almost suffocates gook, even gook seems to have enough of it, he says in one of the scenes that he wants to run away. and that last scene when taejoo ordered gook to go home by foot when he himself rode in that huge ass car?? ...

I just read this whole thread on twitter considering whether Where your eyes linger is a bromance or bl and I…
disappointed but not surprised... koreans be really either blaming gay people for everything bad in the world or denying their existence all together and people thought this series is going to break the stigma around lgbtq people in korea when even the actor's agency is afraid of calling the series gay lmao

The funny feeling I have is that, even though the first two episodes were only 2 x 10 minutes or so, I felt it…
it actually is connected to their culture kind of(?) i was dating a korean guy when he came for his studies here and he told me a lot of korean men have pretty sensitive ears (like ears are their erogenous zone ig) so you can see that a lot of the time when a girlfriend play with her boyfriend's ear it's kind of like a form of flirting/forplay sth like that, you will see that picture often in s. korea

The thing about this series is that yes there were many plot holes, directing and editing wasn't good either,…
yeah, I didn't feel the chemistry between Bright and Win either... neither in the beginning nor in the end. on screen, off screen they act the same to me, like two colleagues/friends. This could have worked in the very beginning of the story when they both were playing "pretend" kind of relationship but when they actually had to start acting like a gay couple and not two bros pretending to be one it all went down the drain... i do believe that the people who cast them as the main couple made a huge mistake

9.0?? are yall even okay??? i was curious about this series since it was so hyped so i binge watched it and plotwise this was the most basic (bl?) series i have ever watched in my whole life and let me tell you i've watched so many.. sarawat and tine's romantic chemistry is non existent, we're just watching two bros awkwardly trying to act like a gay couple for 13 episodes straight, bad editing, the side couples getting 10 minutes of screen time throughout the whole series (what's even the point of having them at all if they don't get any exposure), ridiculous nonsensical plot twist in the last episodes, plus so many plot holes yall be really giving the points for actors looks at this point like there is no other explanation for that high score
On En of Love: TOSSARA Apr 18, 2020
okay i don't usually care that much about looks when i watch a series but not at them going crazy for gun and saying how he is the hottest guy in uni in every damn episode hello are we watching the same show especially when the actors playing mark, neur or even wee look so much better in comparison... they're setting this man up

lol same both actors are just so straight in real life that them kissing, it's almost unimaginable to me i hope…
I mean if you're trying to allude here to the main actors having something in real life even though they don't look like they do then I highly doubt it. Bright has a girlfriend with whom he's been in a relationship for a few years now and Win is also having a girlfriend, like it's not hard to get that info. They're just two straight guys with no chemistry off screen but when they're in their roles in the series they seem to pull it off really well at least in the first episode they did.

What I honesty find the most unrealistic about this storyline is the fact that Tine is supposed to be this straight…
yeah i kinda get what you mean i wouldn't mind if it was stated that they are at least bi but the sexuality of the characters in bl is very rarely stated/discussed throughout the show to begin with. i can count on one hand the amount of actual gay/bi characters in bl which is ridiculous. also i always find it funny how the writers turn these womanizers that are supposed to be into girls only into total "bottoms" when they end up with a man lmao
