I just want people to know here if they are not informed.
DL's "tax evasion" case is different from Fan Bing Bing and Zheng Shuang's tax evasion because for these two they signed a "Yin-Yang Contract" with the intent to evade tax by concealing their salaries causing extreme public outrage. With DL's case, there is a problem with the paperwork that was submitted to the tax bureau and by having an incompetent financial team (He better hire someone better and competent ugh). Only 1% of the tax was left unpaid due to paperwork issues when verified and tbh it don't make sense that he will destroy his successful career for a mere 1%. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Waiting for him to come back.
PS: He is the ONLY one with "issues" whose works were not taken offline after the new reformed rules (2021). Speaks volumes on how his case is not that serious compared to previous artists.
Finally finished part 1, all I can say is that I want to see more of CY's fighting scenes because there was barely here in Part 1 so pls have some in Part 2. I also felt like though he is the main character, I barely saw him tbh but this is just my opinion lmao. But the CGI is great than Twin Cities so I was glad.
Btw, can someone out there convince me to continue in Part 2 lmao pls just give me a reason.
The issue is still fresh and it has not been a while since that happened so he will lie low. Also, China has so many problems now ie. Pandemic and it is not pleasing for him or good timing for him to appear now.
I don't dare scroll further and read because I am afraid of being spoiled. Can someone reply in here if the Episode 11 eng subs are up? Thank y'all and why is the rating so low? It's a 8.0 now.
with decent eng subs pls, I only encounter machine generated subs of this drama and it ain't pleasant because I can' t understand a single thing with that awful subs.
His films and dramas were not taken down in chinese streaming platforms in fact his name is still on it after the issue but his anti-forces are making a fuss over it over and over again so they have no choice to take his name down, then his name went back again after a few days.
In his variety shows, his name is still on it, it was never removed, the same with his music in the different chinese streaming platforms.
I agree. I think there is more to the story than what is publicly released. It’s the government, I don’t 100%…
And there is no way he will risk his successful career for a 1% unpaid tax, this is the fault of his finance team. He apologized because it is his name that is stated in the legal papers and the root cause of it is the finance team's incompetence.

Now, it is too late to stop what has been exposed, but they asked fans to understand his situation and to still support him.)

His cousin replied:
"I have read everyone’s messages, we are okay, his family is accompanying him, thank you, grateful💚. All the negative voices, please ignore, don’t reply them, don’t say anything🙏. Everything will become better❤."
Sadly, he has deleted his account, to stay below the radar in order to keep Lun safe.
He paid the 99% of tax and the 1% was left unpaid. There is really no way he will risk his career for this 1%. He did try to heed the warnings but he trusted it was taken care of by the finance team. He trusted the wrong ppl.
