from what I remember is that it is given by Jin Mi to repay her debt to Yan You for saving her. In that beads contains magic prowess and since she died, the magic disappeared with her.

The Heavenly Defying Sword or the Sky Opening Sword belongs to the first generation Emperor of the Sea so despite the barrier etc., the only one who can actually pull out that sword is of the bloodline of the Emperor of the Sea. The only one who can really wield it now is Su Mo as he is the present Emperor of the Sea.

Bai Ying is the descendant of Queen Bai Wei and the Emperor of the Sea Su Mo is the descendant of the former Emperor of the Sea Chun Huang. The same goes to Crown Prince Zhe Lan with Heavenly King Lang Gan.
Zi Zhe, the man in black robe in the Mirror Tower is most likely the Heavenly King, Lang Gan. The tomb keeper in Jiu Yi Mountain said that there is no remains of the Heavenly King in the first place where the supposed body of the Heavenly King lies. So the Heavenly King can be alive.

Su Mo's dad was never mentioned at least to all the episodes out if I remember it right as I can't recall it. The former Emperor of the Sea which is Chun Huang, has his blood preservrd to a stone to continue his bloodline and Su Mo's mother happened to swallow it in the past, that's why.

Not a bit interested with the romance with Uee and Rain's characters. It is so bland. I'm more looking forward to Kim Beom and Son Naeun's characters with their cute interactions tbh.
