cutest first episode i've seen in a while

i am enjoying the drama so far my only complain is the weird continuity problem. They change clothes out of nowhere and sometimes the scenes feel disconnected and out of place. for example, on episodes 9-10, mumu was avoiding jin chao, but they go back to talking as if nothing happened. i don't think this is a script issue rather it's a sign the drama suffered a little bit on post-production and fulfilling the distribution license conditions.

im sorry but i don't see any of the dumb stuff you mentioned. a mother sacrificing herself for her daughter? a teenager desperately trying to find a way to save his friend? everybody was very much on character to me! plus we all knew where the plot was gonna go. this drama is not a just a silly romcom.

episodes 10-11 were a hard watch! the male lead was drugged and tried to abuse the female lead. it's the type of plot i wish i wouldn't have to see in chinese dramas anymore. the worse part is that he didn't even tell her he was sorry but made her feel bad for avoiding his touch. also, they had her make a whole discourse on how it wasnt in fact his fault and how he shouldnt be ashamed. it's 2025 guys!! let's not make excuses for sexual violence just because two people are married.

i've watched so many dramas he's been in and never noticed that until his major role in revenant. i'm glad i finally got to know this guy.
