One of the best BL series of 2022 coupled with melodic music tunes, they could write an album for every songs Fourth and Gemini sang per episode. This series may have the potential to surpass Bad Buddy.
I liked all the episodes including the storyline and OST, kudos to "Once Again" Production Team. It was a masterpiece. I think the big twist in this series was the dormitory woman and Joo Hyung Jin. They knew everything from the beginning. The dormitory woman was the passport for adult Shin Jae-Woo to see the life of Kang Ji-Hoon, 15 years ago, while Joo Hyung Jin was the person which made adult Shin Jae-Woo and Kang Ji-Hoon grew closer because of that photo (even Kang Ji-Hoon was not aware that his friend gave a photo of him to the 10-year old Shin Jae-Woo), the final episode was a teary one but the ending is understandable because if Shin Jae-Woo died 15 years ago and Kang Ji Hoon was not there to save him, the course of the future would entirely change. It would also be a sad ending.
Still at EP 4, I like how the story goes, but I am afraid this will end sadly since Shin Jae Woo traveled back in time 15 years from present and he already knew the fate Kang Ji Hoon will face. Praying and hoping that they could change the outcome of the future. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
For me it's the fact that they have zero chemistry and their scenes just feel shoehorned in to *remind* you that…
Well, that is your stand, I respect that. Still, the important thing for me is the story line, theme song, symbolisms used and the message the series may tell because it would help us understand why the characters acted like that in the story, I don't give much attention on the chemistry of the main leads, I will end up frustrated if I keep on focusing on the main leads chemistry. Both SIMM and SIYH are so far ok to me, the show are both mellow and relaxing to watch due to the morals of the story line. For the theme song, it is an important factor to me since the theme song of the series gaves us a hint of what would be the story line of the series. The characters who portrayed so far are ok to me. People don't appreciate the series is because they only focused on critizing all aspects of the series without even attempting to deepdive the story and the message of the series.
I liked how Sky In Your Heart blend the continuation of KluenDao love story started in Star In My Mind. I think the reason why KluenDao frequently appears in Sky In Your Heart is very obvious. Listen to the theme song of Star & Sky by Louis Thanawin, there is a phrase in the song:
"If you were the sea, I would be the sand" "If you were the sky, Let me be your North Star to guide your heart" "SIDE BY SIDE LIKE THE STARS IN THE SKY."
I have difficulty to understand why some people hated the appearance of KluenDao in Sky In Your Heart? I find them cute, fluffy and heartwarming and their appearance aligned with the theme song sung by Louis Thanawin. In Sky In Your Heart, Dao was a shining North Star for his brother, Fah in reaching the Himalayas (mountains) and straighten Fah's lifestyle to move on from his past failed romance. Thus, the role of Dao is still critical in Sky In Your Heart.
The big question in our mind is who killed Porsche's and Porchay's parents and why they were killed? Still confused.…
As for Porsche's trust issues, I could understand that because I think it is also traumatic for him about what happened to his parents, losing their parents at their young age would be too much for Porsche and Porchay and they also witnessed it. Thus, at some point, I can understand the trust issues that Porsche has right now.
The big question in our mind is who killed Porsche's and Porchay's parents and why they were killed? Still confused. In the previous episode, Kim went to the temple to confront the old man with fake Alzheimer's disease who was paid to erase the case of Porsche's and Porchay's parents, and was shock to discover that his father (Korn) ordered the old man to pretend that he has Alzheimer's disease so that the case may be forgotten, and now, at the end of ep 13, Uncle Thee admitted to Porsche that his parents were not killed in a car accident but shot, then, when Porsche confronted Korn about his parents, Korn said that his mother was his sister. This is a big twist and turns hahaha. Hoping that ep 14 would provide an answer to this question because the truth may either make or break Kinn and Porsche.
If Star In My Mind got me teared up because of the hope that Kluen can open up his heart and let the North Star (Dao) regain its shine and was able to guide Kluen, the first 2 episodes of Sky In Your Heart already touched me so easily, I am excited how Prince will change and inspire Fah since Fah was a lot workaholic and is not hoping anymore for love. Star In My Mind and Sky In Your Heart are so far the best soft mellow BL series I have watched. If North Star and sunflower was used as symbolism in Star In My Mind. I wonder what symbolism they will use in Sky In Your Heart?
I liked the contradiction/collision story of plus/minus; day/night, a very rare storyline. It's a story of two people lived between two different worlds. I am excited as to how will they overcome the challenges of contradicting worlds.
I seriously don't understand people criticizing the series. Like calm down people it's not the oscars!! I'm not…
Same with your thoughts, I really liked the series. On top of a soft mellow BL storyline, I liked the symbolism of North Star and the sunflower in the story in which some BL fans missed to understand. They only criticized the series based on chemistry, other people said that the series had shallow/basic mediocre storyline and not appreciate the deepness and mellowness of the storyline. The North Star and the sunflower was the key of hope and inspiration for both of them. Dao guided Kluen by the shining North Star to the right track of hope wherever the Shining North Star goes while the sunflower in which Kluen has been holding on symbolizes unwavering faith, admiration, and unconditional love. It's a beautiful symbolism in which I noticed in the series. EP 5 to 8 manifested those symbolism.
Yes, Sky In Your Heart is the continuation of Star In My Mind, we could still witness the continuation of Kluen and Dao love story as supporting roles for our main characters, Fah and Prince
"If you were the sea, I would be the sand"
"If you were the sky, Let me be your North Star to guide your heart"
"SIDE BY SIDE LIKE THE STARS IN THE SKY."
