I feel like the show took some of the issues it presented too lightly. Plus, some scenes made me uncomfortable, especially the very last bit. Given everything that has happened to Sailom, I think it shouldn't have been included at all. But at least the actors showed decent portrayals of their characters.
PS. Is it bad that I ship Saifah with Kang's father more than I ship the main couple? đ
I feel like the series âofficiallyâ started at episode 4. (The first three was really a mess, and the pilot didnât feel like a pilot.) Looking forward to watching the next episodes. I hope it gets better. đ
This is one of my most anticipated series in GMMTVâs 2023 lineup. But NGL, it bored the hell out of me. It was lacking in so many aspects and I only stayed for my favorites. It did get better in the last few episodes. And that final scene got me hoping for season 2. But if theyâre going to give us a sequel, I hope they improve a lot because damn this series got so much potential.
NGL, this was my least anticipated BL from GMMTVâs 2023 roster as Iâm not really a fan of the time travel trope so it took me 5 episodes before I finally gave it a try. Now, itâs quickly becoming one of my favorites. The characters are so well-written and relatable that I ended up binging all available episodes when I only planned to watch one last night. I canât wait for the next ones!
In part 1 there is a song saying 'Where are you?', does anybody know the songs name?
Are you referring to the part where White is recalling riding bikes with Black? If yes, the song is "The Rivers Told Me Lies" by Daniel Gunnarsson. đ
Tiffy went from my favorite to my most hated character in this series. I thought she was gonna be the support Aoey needed but she only acted like a proper manager to him like once. And she really had to tell him theyâd be parting ways right before the press con when she knew Aoey was already struggling? How cruel. Iâve hot more bones to pick on this series but Iâm most disappointed about how her character not being fleshed out enough to justify her actions.
Not gonna lie, I ainât so much of a fan of the overall execution of the story. The revelation in ep 9 doesnât even feel like a revelation anymore. Whoâs even surprised at this point? However, I still enjoyed watching. The show is ending tomorrow and Iâm a bit sad coz Girl2k gave me something to look forward to every Wednesdays and Thursdays. I hope they manage to wrap it nicely. Nevertheless, Iâm so happy and proud of Jumpol for this for I know itâs his long-time dream to play a character like Boss Thawin. :)
Kidding aside, Iâm loving the show so far. Itâs so refreshing and all the characters are actually interesting, like theyâre not just there to fill in time. Plus, Iâm living for the jabs at the BL industry (especially in the first episode). They really went there. And I hope they be more aggressive in critiquing (?) the industry in the future episodes.
I love how this feels like itâs been pulled out of a crack au of some sort. Something I could watch without thinking too much amid the stressful week. But, damn, that Oab character is annoying af. Aside from his abysmal work ethic, it pisses me off even more that he looks like my disgusting officemate. Itâs a struggle every episode ???
I watched this to find out if it would give me relief regarding my concern about Type being unemployed. Season 2 ended with him still jobless, right? Sure, Tharn is rich and is capable of providing a lavish life for Type. But Type really values his job. Sadly, that wasnât addressed in this special (or did I just miss it? I was watching it at 2x speed ?). Nevertheless, MewGulfâs chemistry is still undeniable that it was still enjoyable to watch.
I had high hopes at the beginning of this season but ended up dreading the disappointment that most of the episodes brought. In the end, I only kept watching for my man Type. Type is one of the most complex characters Iâve seen in BL and I feel like this season is such a big disrespect to him. If anyone got some nice fix-it-fics, please share the link. I need it. Thanks!
Wow. It was a struggle not to fall asleep on episode 9 even on 2x speed. Not a good way to come back after New Yearâs break. TBH, the only conflict i found interesting this season (not that there are a lot to choose from) was Typeâs dilemma with his boss. But now that thatâs dealt with, Iâm rapidly losing interest on the show. And the sloppy writing ainât helping. At this point, Iâm only watching for the sake of finishing all the episodes. I hate feeling this way toward a show I highly anticipated.
Although I believe that there are so many areas for improvement, I really loved this movie! It was so refreshing to see a Catholic school being open to our lgbtqia+ brothers and sisters. I was smiling from ear to ear during that lecture about homosexuality not being a sin. We need more progressive movies / shows / content like this.
Let's be honest. This season is bad. However, Gulf keeps proving he is a good actor and keeps improving. He shows…
I agree. The only character that âmakes senseâ this season is Type. Even Tharn gets on my nerves sometimes. Typeâs the only reason why Iâm watching at this point. And him punching the boss is just so satisfying.
I'm so happy to have Seo back, I literally screamed but was shocked was I saw his character now has a mental set…
I missed Seo too! However, âdumbâ is a bit too harsh, donât you think? Seo just lost his lifelong dream. He worked so hard for so long and failed to debut. Imagine enduring all those years of training only to be rejected, while his friends are already going places with their jobs. He may be calm, collected, and mature most of the time but heâs still human. His breakdown is valid.
âOh, Mando!â really has that âWansapanataymâ vibe. It was a fun watch. I just wish Mando had a moment with Maâam Siwa to have a deeper talk about him discovering his sexuality. I feel like she could give him great guidance.
PS. Is it bad that I ship Saifah with Kang's father more than I ship the main couple? đ
