yeah i agree. don't like how the ML was dishonest and he knew Gu Qing was actually looking for Yin Feng but he didn't tell her the truth. But then again maybe this plot is that the ML is a bad guy but has a good heart in the end?

But I do find it hard to believe that when the empress dowager went back in time to stop heavenly emperor from killing yan yue’s mom. That the heavenly emperor would have a change of heart just from yan yue hugging him since he was willing to kill both of his sons. He just seemed to only care about himself and not even his son.
