I don't know why but I like Deng Wei more than Jeremy Tsui in this drama. Something about him is very attracting hahah. Even though I think they put way too much eye makeup on both of these guys.
βΌ Spoiler βΌI love this series but I unfortunately find chonz zi very childish no matter what life she's living...Ofc…
and also in regards to Chong Zi being very childish and never growing up...
Even the Author - Shu Ke who wrote the novel pointed out that One of the shortcomings of this drama was that in this story about a master and his female disciple, the lines and dialogue particularly of the disciple didnβt show a progression from a young girl to an adult.
She found it a bit disappointing how the lack of progression has affected viewers perception.
Fully agree with this 100%!! Not sure if it's the screenwriting or if this is the case in the actual original…
I wasn't into chinese drama until last year because I didn't like either they way it was shot or either CGI wasn't that great. I feel like recently Chinese drama has really stepped it up and now I am hooked haha. I even plan on wearing Hanfu clothing once the weather gets warmer. lol.

Haha yeah I am frustrated tooβ¦.but some reason I still keep watching this drama lol. Probably because i love the xianxia genre. And this is my first time seeing Jeremy Tsui act π
Did I miss something? Just watched ep 22 and it feels like Chong Zi #2's personality completely changed. I thought…
Totally agree with u β about all these guys liking for no reason . Also why I think this drama is very unbelievable. π€ͺI guess she is the prettiest immortal girl or disciple they have ever seen? π€·π»ββοΈ
