That whole breakfast scene was super awkward and super scripted in my opinion. The way mingyu brought up the "so does anyone have plans" topic is so weird, it's not a topic he would bring up in that way. That's something hushin and jiwon could totally do. Plus the awkward look between mingyu and jiwon, jiwon asking jiyoung out, jiyoung claiming she wants to rest but immediately accepting to go on a date with gyeorae, it was totally like they were given cues by the camera crew, that scene was not natural at all. As far as I'm concerned, the pd-nim is just doing too much to stir up drama
On a lighter note, jiyoung is totally the ppl girl for the boys, first she goes on a date with hushin to advertise his paintings and next week she'll go on a date with gyeorae to advertise his coffee shop hell if she could go to jiwon's hospital and mingyu's workplace, they'd have totally used her to advertise
I thank myself every week for making the decision to stop getting invested in couples when it comes to heart signal and just stick to liking the cast as individuals. I would have been throwing a tantrum if I were as invested as I was with season 1 and 2 but right now I'm probably the only person in the whole world who is enjoying the show. A lot of viewers are frustrated with the drama during breakfast but I was just laughing cos I found mingyu, yisoo and jiyoung's facial expressions so funny. Am I a psychopath or do I just not care enough about any of the love lines? I still enjoyed the episodes anyway. Can't wait for the next 2 weeks so this mess of a season will be over
The one thing everyone agrees on when it comes to this season is that the editors are doing a really shitty job. The last 2 episodes better be worth it and I need to see hearts signaling cos right now it seems like the contestants are in some show about divorced couples who go on a trip to discuss why their marriage didn't work out.
Anyway I'm still being entertained by Shin mingyu my favorite cast member since episode one when he dropped his coat on the floor (haha I always fall for the introverted weirdos) and also the person who has given me the most headache all season lol I literally spend most episodes trying to read his body language since the editors of this show keep cutting his scenes and conversations.

Yeah I wasn't even really talking about you, it's just almost everywhere online it's people judging mingyu when they don't even really know his side of the story. All of his scenes are chopped up and clearly edited, so I just don't think people should judge him hastily. Funny enough this is actually my favorite season of heart signal and that's probably cos I learnt to stop rooting for "couples" and instead I just root for people individually when it comes to heart signal. I was so invested in couples during season 1&2 and my heart was very broken at the end so from season 3 I decided not to be deceived by heart signal production team and it has made my life so much easier hahaha
Jiyoung was totally not interesting to me in the first few episodes but man she is really strong mentally, how she's managing to cope with all the attention the guys give her but still manages to maintain her friendships with the girls needs to be studied. I'm pleasantly surprised, I thought she'd be a bland flower vase just relying on her looks but she's actually very thoughtful and I hope she makes a choice that makes her happy at the end of the day

I don't get all of this mingyu hate. The guy is the only one who has 3 women showing interest in him. The others only have to contend with their feelings and the feeling of the other one person interested with them. Mingyu has to contend with his feelings and the feelings of the other 3 people who have shown interest in him. Plus the rule of the show is to not confess until the last day, he's literally the only one playing by the rules by being vague about his choices. Also the show is heavily edited to sell a narrative and everyone keeps taking what they watch on surface level without attempting to understand the viewpoint of the contestants. I mean a few episodes back most people hated jiyoung and jimin but now because the show has shown that they are actually nice and genuine people, everyone suddenly sees their good side. For 3 out of 4 girls to be interested in mingyu at some point, I think it shows that he's definitely better than what you all think of him. They are the ones living in the same house with him and all the girls have nice things to say about him so why do you all think he's shifty. The only thing mingyu did that was wrong to me was the day he left jimin out in the cold and if I'm being honest, I feel like the producers probably asked him to do that for dramatic effect and buzz which it got lol. At the end of the day, this is a reality show and all of these people are trying their best to lives on TV which is not easy, I don't think we should just conclude about who they are based on 1 hour and 30 minutes
