Epi 3 now. It's surprisingly good. A simple scene can me extremely moving when acting is good. When Su Yiqiu was drying the costumer data he collected and Wu kezhi walks in and felt pity for him ...just moved me so much. It was such a simple scene yet these 2 actors (mark Chao and Bjt) made it so emotional.

I'm on epi 27 and honestly, the drama is so boring. So many people praising the drama makes me wonder if im watching the same drama. I felt no chemistry between the leads. Nada! I even fast forwarded many of their "romantic" scenes. Acting was so so. The side politics was messy, although much better than the romance. The side characters kept me in the drama. Sanniang, Yizhang, Chi Pan, scholar du guy, Chen Lin, etc....the drama is beautiful in aesthetics and cultural elements. Too bad story is boring and main leads are dull.

This looks boring and 37 episodes just screams trouble...and seems femalecentric so bjt may not even have enough screentime.

Yah. She was not that bad at the beginning despite her acting always relied on opening her eyes as big as possible as if she was afraid of people not realizing she has big eyes (this creepy phenomenon is persistent in Chinese actresses though, it's not her fault), but then she became the know it all, the savior of all. I dunno..then her nasal voice just bugged me a little. But she cute though and the drama was watchable. Nothing against her. Just not too comfortable watching her.

Am I the only one who finds the female lead annoying? And her acting when she was mad was so exaggerated

You were all over FB calling LYT a flop and a bad actress...but you think zls is a good actress? 🤣 And you wanted CY to be a sidekick by playing a supporting role to Lusi!! You are weird AF!! You also wanted CY to leave the entertainment industry. Who needs antis when he has fans like you.

It matters because of acting. The more good actors there are, the better for the drama. It's less cringy. I think i remember you, you wanted Cheng Yi to take that hidden god drama with Zhao Lusi because shes traffic. Ewww....you wanted him to become supporting role to someone who's 10 years his junior. That's insulting. Li Yitong is considered by china a good actress. She's low key and well respected. So bye!!

I like Zhang binbin, but holy sh1t, the audio and dubbing are horrific. ZBB dubbed himself, but something was really wrong with the audio editing. Unfortunately, this drama it's unwatchable for me! Skipping it.

I never said fanwars were related to dubbing . Reread. Why don't you search up dubbing rules instead of just saying that is a lie? And if dubbing was due to accent, then explain why did ZLS get dubbed in Love better Immortality, who rules world, and long ballad and used her own voice in love like galaxy and tiger rose? And actors job is to act. Acting involves voice. You couldn't even tell that zls got dubbed in WRTW 😂so don't even bother commenting on dubbing. Bye.

Hon, i know her voice. I've watched some of her dramas before and i know her voice. Even if i didn't, i can easily tell a dubbed drama because things don't flow naturally and there's a weird echo in the background.

On epi 15 and I'm really liking it. The mu ziqi's case is so far my favorite. I never thought that i could liked a court drama that isn't exactly about criminal cases.

Zhao Lusi looks so stiff. Lol. Whats wrong with her neck? I'm sorry, but my back hurts just by looking at them. They both seem to be competing to see who's more rigid. I was looking forward to this drama. I reactivated Netflix for this. A total disappointment. I felt no connection with the characters. Episode 13 and decided to drop it. Ill keep waiting for the day i can go through a Yang Yang drama. Why did they dub lusi. She's more than capable in using her own voice! Leave her voice alone.

The female lead never really had that much power. She was just smart. She was able to save male lead twice because of her lotus heart, which has healing powers. His parents got married because the no love rule didn't exist back then. His mom felt cheated so she created the rules.

Immortals were not allowed to fall in love because it was a rule set by YY's mother. She got hurt and almost got the world in chaos, so she created that rule. Immortals are cultivators.
They can exist from either cultivation or creation (birth). Luming also said that the forbidden love rule was specifically for high Immortals, not for the lower immortals. Yandan became a flower spirit because she jumped off the bridge. It's illegal. Anyone that jumps would lose her immortal connection and spirit. She wasn't allowed to be reborn because she didn't forget her past. Her memories were taken away from her by YY instead of forgetting them herself, so she could only be a flower spirit when in the mortal world.

I'm okay with decent dubbing. There are few dubbed dramas with decent dubbing, but the voice here doesn't match CY's face. Sounds much older, doesn't merge well with the video, there's an echo (did they do the dubbing inside the bathroom? Lol), and the tone of voice seems louder than the moving mouth of the actor. I had the same exact problem with l&r, but it was much worst in l&r because omg ..the girl's high pitch voice was driving me crazy :((

Enjoying the story, chemistry, and characters, but not liking the dubbing for Ying Yuan (same voice actor for si Feng in l&r) and the overusage of inner monologues. I thought china was banning overdubbing? This is one of the most bizarre phenomena in Cdrama.
