This is so amazing and hilarious- def on my rewatch list (9/10 -.5 for not enough of 2nd couple and -.5 for not enough of the series. Season 2 maybe??)
Wow. I didn’t read any reviews before watching this and I’ve pondered for 3 days how to feel about it. I’ve written a long summary of my thoughts and views but ended up trashing it because I cannot do this film justice with my words.
It’s both confusing and clear. Both awful and amazing. It was a duality of everything, perfectly suited to the overall thematic baseline. These characters are beyond flawed and not exactly lovable or even redeemable but at the same time you feel for them.
*sigh* I rated it high because it had such an emotional impact. Just wow.
I was told not to watch it. That the acting was awful, no chemistry, production quality was poor, plot was seriously lacking, interloper was absurd, etc. Did I listen? No. Do I regret it? …
