i was realllyy skeptical on starting this and put it off for ages, then i got bored and decided to start it..and...its not actually that bad! i'm even enjoying it?!
yes this drama has a few flaws but doesnt every drama? the main moral of the story is there and its interesting to see how the rest of it pans out!
i'm so so so disappointed, i trawled through 20 episodes and THAT was the ending they gave? i sat through and…
aha i know right! and now that i think about it, they didnt even blow stuff up as bad as i thought they would i thought they were going to put explosives like in and our of the place cos if you're going to blow something up in a drama you should do it properly right? but nooo they just blew it up enough for a ...HOLE.
i thought Gwi was going to die at the end of some epic sword battle and he crumbles in front of every one with so much bloooood!
I was also a bit disappointed with the 3 components of the said 'secret plan' i wanted the king to play a bigger part, it was guardian, mother's relation and...king's will right?
do you read the dramabeans comments on the recaps? their opinions are pretty spot on on how i feel about the episodes tbh. like Sung Yeol spends 120 years.... doing what seems like nothing if he couldnt even find any trace of the memorandum and there's like no other vampires outside of the kingdom it seems that he has to take care of...
and ohhh how whole 'vampire' theme isnt really explained...like suddennnnly, the hunter introduces silver bullets and its like wooooop we can kill vampires with it!!

lee jun ki saved this mostly, his acting was flawless, i was surprised and satisfied with everyone else's acting but the storyline is very 'WHAAAAT?!'
and why was 1 year later even neccessary? where could he possibly have to go to leave everybody behind and disappear for a year?! eurgh.
not sure if i missed this, but you know how they mentioned one of his personalities is 'Nana'? and we got to know that Nana was the name of the bear, was it mentioned whether this personality was anything to do with ORJ? like if he displaced her into himself because he wanted to be the victim instead of her so much? but that personality has not appeared yet..right?
whoaaa! DID NOT EXPECT THAT EP 16 TWIST!
if i had known there would be such a massive twist I wouldve tried my best to not watch it until at least 17 came out!! T_T
now i've ended up joining the waiting game...again!
anyone preordered dvd/bluray of the series?!? its so expensive..but the goodies that come with it...ahh!!
did you get the normal dvd or blu ray version? tempted my the blu ray because its region free and there are so many extra things that come with it.. but its... a bit expensive... so i dont know whether to fork out the money or not...!
