The only other thing that slightly bothered me was that when they came out to their parents they never told anyone they'd been together for 10 years already. That takes it from "its just a phase" into new territory. Although all the parents accepted it right away, it feel like that's an important piece that was never touched on. Didn't take anything away from the story it just bugged me.
this was good, I rewatched this about 2 or 3 times but damn like .. I just wanted my dude yuuki to not forgave…
that was the only reason I didn't rate it 10/10. I gave it 9.5 because Yuki forgave Akira too easily. it had been FOUR YEARS. Still cried at the end tho.
I have absolutely no clue what the plot is, or what happened at all other than the NC. Since 70% of this show is just sex, we see quite a lot of it. It actually felt pretty realistic. Little bit awkward and messy, positions not totally comfortable, switching/verse, men with average bodies with marks, and leg hair etc. Most couples have a lot of sex when they first get together, so all in all, yes it was essentially porn, but felt very much like how it would play out in real life. I gave it 7 out of 10 because of this. could have given more if I knew at all what the plot was or what they were saying.
Okay revamp takes too long to be released. Watched between us (def one of my fave thai bls) but didn't really…
It took me one day to watch Between Us (I loved it) and months to finish UWMA. it's painfully slow. The last two episodes make it worth the watch, but getting there takes a lot of patience. Even though I understand how important the subject matter is, I had to treat this show as casual viewing. I stopped probably half the episodes midway through and came back to it after weeks at a time.
There are two couples: Dean & Pharm and Korn & Intouch. We only get to see tiny, almost insignificant snippets of Win & Team. Thank goodness they got their own stellar show.
The scene allocation is about 80% DeanPharm, 19% KornIntouch, 1% WinTeam.
Episode 3: Wow.So many neurotic, unhappy young men chasing other neurotic, unhappy young men while playing other…
They're literal teenagers. That's the whole point. This is the first time they have these kinds of feelings and don't know what to do with them or how to navigate it. I wouldn't call any of them players, Chian had feelings for Bua only until 4Mod came around and Baabin had feelings for 4Mod up till now. These boys are not adults and don't know how to act like adults.
The nails are an expression of identity that turned into a flirting mechanism.
I agree with pretty much everything you said. I actually prefer the cut scenes (like not showing the final tennis match) but because these episodes were so short it felt like there was too much missing.
Usually scenes are prolonged just to fill that 45min time frame but here it was a bit... too obvious? Them falling in love felt super rushed. I like TX backing off snd confessing his reasons, but XN reciprocating didnt feel right. I liked the tennis aspect actually, should have totally omitted the whole work plot from the beginning. Should have made it entirely about tennis.
Let's not talk about the suitcase advert in ep 10. I swear it took up exactly half of the episode content.
I will say though, I really liked the best friend. I think she's a decent actor and she felt like a fully fledged typica BFF in her limited scenes.
I freaking LOVED Style. Like, just go for it man. They showed his dedication to the task at the beginning, then…
Fadel is really a cupcake. Style helps him get to that point. He's not at all terrifying lol. You'll have to make it farther into the show to see that.
Am I the only one who finds Style to be unbearably annoying, like that's not the way to get a man to like you!…
I freaking LOVED Style. Like, just go for it man. They showed his dedication to the task at the beginning, then morphed that into his dedication to Fadel as a lover later. I thought him breaking Fadel's wall was genius. Fadel is serious and closed off, he needed a strong personality like Style to have a character arc.
That's a creative insult, "son of D*****", it cuts like a knife. I guess they're calling him a sell-out.
I dunno. Song Kang was called the prince of netflix or something similar, no onr really called him a sellout for that. Some directors keep casting the same actors in all their shows. Streaming services have the budget and no restrictions on content so these actors have more opportunities to try more mature roles. JcW is a k darling, I'm not surprised he's going in a different direction these days. Working with disney helps him do that.
please only make it about the kids. the rest turned it into trash
Totally disagree! I was engaged in the kids story but when it shifted to the parents I didn't want to go back to the kids, just continue following the adults.
