i don't like dramas like this one, or 'save me' where they try too hard on making a -scary- atmosphere with cheap sound effects and lightning/coloring, instead of the writting.
couln't finish ep.1 bc i was so bored, already filled with clichés with the neighbors; the pervy, the one that's always mad, the mentally ill (why is that supposed to be creepy?), and the main character, a country pumpkin who can't say no. the cast is great, and the reviews say the story is good, but it's a no for me.
I heard from avenuex on youtube that the director is airing another bl drama, but super low-key and low budget, it's called 'bai li tiao yi'. does anyone have any information on this??
does it get interesting towards the end? i'm on ep 18 and nothing has happened for a few episodes, so i want to know if something else is gonna happen, bc im getting bored.
how can the main character be so annoying at times and inspiring at others? it's like they have three different characters played by the same actress and they just forgot and gave all three the same name. the male lead is so bland, they had to write a tragic backstory for him to have a personality.
I was just gonna try to ignore those two and focus on ji seo joon and song hae rin' storylines, but they HAD to pair them up together wow innovative
the publishing company gig of it all is a really cool and interesting concept, but I can't skip all the cheesy dialogue just to watch the 5 minute scenes I actually like (and I tried). they rely too much on lee jong suk's popularity to sell the drama and I guess it worked, it got them on netflix. so congrats, but I'm dropping it
If you’re talking about Park being the antagonist, that makes no sense. Of course they didn’t tell us why…
you don't actually know he's the bad guy, we just asume he is bc of the dumb bg music. and that just ruins the revelation later on becasue, as you said, we were already waiting for it. it's not fun if you can predict the story.
i just finished watching episode 3 and DID I JUST WATCH A R4PE SCENE? the scene is so sick. the female lead talking about how she couln't move because of the shock, how she couln't face him because his gaze would scare her and couln't tell anybody because she was embarrased and lost all of her confidence after that. am i supposed to like the male lead after that?
