I don't know what's the equivalent of an oscar in this context but whatever it is please give it to Kim So Yeon. The piano/rain scene is one of the best I've ever seen.
I enjoyed every single episode of this show except for the last 2. I don't know how they managed to make them that off putting when I was crazy about it. And that's when I am team Su-ho lol
Yeah NDS is a highly complex character. We don't know what he is thinking at all.
I genuinely don't get what is there to not understand. A guy who has spent his life struggling with others' expectations and his self-esteem suddenly had the chance to have someone love and support him the way even his parents didn't do. The weight of a lie is mixed with feelings that he has never got to experience before and is so desperate to get which is a classic premise (ex: Les Liaisons Dangereuses).
He isn't even a flat character. He is actively growing and developing as the series goes. And as the show states, having Dal-mi in his life gave him the spark of motivation that he has always been lacking.
I can't seem to grasp what is all the criticism for.
I really liked this. It is well written and wasn't disappointing at all. It is actually better than so many highly praised dramas. The ending is a bit rushed but that's my only comment. The acting is superb and the characters are round and have interesting dynamics. I don't get the hate surrounding this show tbh.
This drama is so frustrating to me. I love both Lee Joon Gi and Seo Ye Ji but I am in episode 6 and it is SO disappointing so far. The law aspect of the drama is so boring and not well written at all, the plot lacks details in a way that makes us feel like yeah we know the main plot point but nothing about it is engaging. The only enjoyable thing in this drama for me is the mayor candidate accent lol.
I wasn't really that into it at the beginning, it was slow and kind of boring but I trust Lee Woo Jung and as expected it kept getting better and better that it turned out to be one of my favourites dramas. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
I was like okay okay okay apparently this will be a classic tragedy now I want to throw my laptop at the wall but then the plot twist happened and now my cheeks hurt my boyyyyyyyyy kaaaaang dooooo is well I am emotional
I already have the episode but I can't find english subs yet
