To be fair the show is not that bad but could have been better if the actual story of what happened to Seeun was introduced MID-SEASON bc literally it felt like watching a game played for no reason but I guess we as the audience had to be just as clueless as the rest of the students... but still I love a good REVENGE storyline. However, let's start making some of them make sense. IDK who are my favorite parents though... the parents from here or the father from AOUAD... they as parents standing up for their kids when no one else will EATS... BUT still stop involving everyone who has nothing to do with the suffering of another. Only get the ones who MADE the suffering happen and those who cheekily WATCHED and did nothing. There were some others who did see the signs but were innocent bc they were still genuine about Seeun like Jun Hee and Yoon Seo. Also, some ppl were confused so if udk.. the parents created Jung Won in place of Seeun to mask up the fact why they were really there. But I think this was the problem bc they are supposed to "pay for their wrongdoings" without actually REMEMBERING why they are paying for their "wrongdoings."
I've noticed something while watching Korean BLs, the way the movie is directed and shown to the viewers feels…
Korea is still CONSERVATIVE when it comes to lgbtq+ content... if you want to watch BLS apart from thai dramas that really raise the heat i suggest Japanese and Taiwanese BLS. But yea, I always hesitate watching KBLS tbh
Does anyone know if Jack Jaktrin Giacomo Piazza is mixed because I swear his middle and last name are Italiano. Also, he looks mixed and I REALLY love when I see mixed cast members in BLS bc I barely see them as much
chances of him being the mafia really aren't greater when roles are assigned randomly. you're just perpetuating…
but taking him OUT would decrease the suspicions ... if he is ACTING like a mafia then use that as an opportunity to take him out AS IF he were the mafia. There is no bias here when a bully in tormenting ppl and using this as a gains to win.. that is literally the role of a mafia regardless. Do u hear urself? And even if what u were saying is true.... that does not take away from the fact that he is making the game WAY HARDER to play because he is not being a TEAM PLAYER....
So you mean to tell me none of them had the brightest idea in their mind until ep 4 to wanna start voting for the bully but yet manage to pick ANYONE else? Tbh game strategy-wise wise voting for the bully first would be the best thing to do. Obvi this does not mean he IS THE MAFIA but the chances of him being the Mafia are greater than a lot of others there... but then again guess it would not be a kdrama if the bully was eliminated early lol. Also, i just realized the bully was also in the Kdrama Weak hero class as the UFC fighter... a lot of familiar faces. One of the girls was also in Penthouse and I know Da Bum was in AOUAD
why did they did a funeral for Jongsuk? Wasn't he count as a killer too? I'm confused about ending.
well anytime a police officer dies, there is a honor funeral due to their service they served while they were alive. It is the same thing here in the USA
I consider this one of the worst BLs of all time. Fluff, rainbows, unicorns shitting ice cream cones, bad acting,…
no literally, ohmnanon are on my list of BL actors who really use the BL industry as a stepping stool and don't see it. Ohm especially as he has been exposed for being phobic a few years back...but then again what BL actor hasn't. This is why I stick to more Taiwanese BLS the scandals are very rare
So, I REALLY fell in love with both of the actors who were the MAIN COUPLE in this drama. They had such a genuine and true chemistry-based connection. I know a lot of ppl hyped the second couple more but I disagree that they carried the show. Tbh the second couple's relationship was so weirdly plotted together that it lost me from the start. He kept calling him his brother (which is all he wanted to be) and mind you Chen Yi was madly in love with the older boss who already was in love with his assumed-to-be partner which was NEVER confirmed by words but put 2 and 2 together it was obvious. Chen Yi and Eddie's ship was just a lot and never in-depthly understood for me. However, I can say the older bosses did peak interest in me but the show did horrible at giving us their storyline and at the end outta nowhere one is coughing up blood and that's it? Like..they could have had SO MUCH POTENTIAL, we wanna see OLDER gay couples too in BLS frl. IDK ....some scenes were so out of order I thought it was comical. ZeRui and ZongYi carried for me and ik ppl do not like age gaps like this in BLS but the reality is that in many countries 17 is the age of consent and btw for those who still complained, you do not have to watch, AND ZongYi was a SENIOR in high school and was turning 18. Also, this BL kinda reminded me of Minato's Laundromat (Japanese BL with the same age-gap plot). Also, I know a lot of people gagged finding out ZongYi was the top which I loved. I feel like it shows how yall should stop giving assumptions on roles in the gay community esp through BLS. You really never know someone's position. Overall, I loved this BL for the main couple and highly recommend it. Taiwanese BLS are always EATING esp when they do so many cameos from other Taiwanese BL actors. Like it was soooo good to see Aaron, Hank, Wayne, ChunChih, Jun Peng, Wilson, Matt, Qi Lei, Max Lin, Cheng Xuan, and more. If you saw these actors but do not know who they are..pls go watch the BLS they play MAIN roles in and you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED I promise!
This is almost like the Japanese BL "Minato's Laundromat" about a couple where one is in high school but in a relationship with an older person. HOWEVER, this BL is def more intense with the action plot.
I finally finished Taikan Yoho and this is why I always go outta my way to FIND JAPANESE BLS. They always have a more mature and real plot feel. IMO they sometimes are more firey and intense too. I liked this BL, the nature of it was innocent, k!nky, cute, and SENSUAL. These elements we love to see in BLS being portrayed ACCURATELY. The main leads had SO MUCH CHEMISTRY too and that always makes up for the lack of anything. I wish we had longer episodes or a more complete finale. Overall, one of my fav Jap BLS released this year for sure.
