Since he was stabbed in the back with a knife it's very possible that his vertebral column received some damage and that's why the crippled leg. He probably needed to be hospitalized for a longer time due to that damage. Another reason for him hanging around hospitals could've been that he had nowhere else to go since he was previously living with Jeong Hwa. The scar on his face is probably from when he crushed on the ground after being hit by the car. I can't explain the 'no talking part' but this is how I understood the ending. And a reason for not going back to Jeong Hwa could've been that he was either too ashamed either too scared to face her.

At first I found this movie a little bit boring because there wasn't much happening, but after half of the movie was over I understood that it had to be a little bit monotone so we get how much in love the two main characters were. The twist was totally unexpected and brilliant, and the end was absolutely mindblowing. For me, this is a masterpiece.

That's not really true. Didn't the mother say that they were twins? That means that Kyung Joon would look like Yoon Jae when he'd grow up. Even though it was kind of a mess since only one year passed, but that's why his hand was looking older as he grabbed Daran's umbrella and it gave us the impression that it was Yoon Jae's body.
