I thought It was only me to think that this series is overrated, I mean yeah it's a good drama but I personally gave it a 8.7 and goblin is much more better than this and deserve 9.5 full but don't know why both of them have almost the same rate uff

the start of this drama was really epic but after the EP08 when everyone one by one started to come out from the island it started to get really boring my rate is 7/10

hhhmmmm I think the second season it's not related to the first one I mean If also he was referring to her (Shen Luo) with Lu Li it's anyway a sad love story

I was hoping something for the season 2 but I think it's impossible because
1- the actress is same but change her character (Shen Luo_Lu Li)
2- the second season is a historical so it's before their love story of the first season
3- that one is a prequel
I don't know why but every time I watch the last scene I burst into tears and became sad

yeah right, I also liked it. From many points of view I think they could give us an even better final but also in this way is fine

I don't know If anyone noticed that Shen Luo didn't learned how to swim she was able to swim thanks to Wu Julan because he is the King of the sea and helping her to float on the water, so in the moment when he vanishes in bubbles she can't reach the boat and logically she can't breathe in the water because she a human in the end both of them died at the same time. This is the real ending they wanted to show us, in the end the mermaid finds his true love (he wasn't no more alone and one of his wishes became true and she didn't believe in love but after meeting the male mermaid she find her true love so also her wish became true) but can't able to have an Happy Ending with her because of their tragic destiny. But in some ways i think this is best ending for them because if they was living happily then in the future will come a time when he is handsome, young and she is already an old woman and it will realle be sad, in the end both of them have the most wanted think they wanted in their life 'true LOVE' so as the Goblin series theory they will born again with their memories and live happily their four lifes in earth, their fist life was tragic with so many bad moments but they can enjoy their 3 remaining lives without thinking any kind of destiny or problems, Oh I forgot to say a think when she get the tear pearl there was some kinf of transformation before her death 'i think also she was transformed in a magic creature as him' so they can live happily without thinking the age or exterior form. From my point of view this was an HAPPY ENDING
