Title Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born
I don't think you're correct 100%. At the beginning, Jeongnyeon had the talent but struggled to be recognised…
i agree with you... if i were yeong soo in real life i would quit singing. The fact that all that hard work can't even beat a "genius" who lost her voice would be the ultimate slap in the face.

as a non-asian westerner as well its kinda crazy giving it a lower score for story bc u dont know the culture…
lolol why u so mad bruh? and yes i did my googling after watching so not sure what your point is?? the great thing about reviews is that you can give whatever score you want! if you think this is worthy of a 10/10 go for it! nobody's stopping you lol.

love your review! agree that the leads didnt really have chemistry. I watched some behind the scenes videos and they acted so awkward around each other. not sure why. i wanted to add this part to my own review but didnt want to deal with hate comments lol

Review Queen of Tears
Excellent review! I typically don't love makjang, but was planning on watching it to see what all the fuss was…
haha glad you enjoyed it! i must say i really found the first few eps enjoyable and was hoping it would live up to the premise. i wrote this as a rant because i'm disappointed with the trainwreck it became. and regarding hae in's/kim ji won's lack of expressions - hae in as a character is not well written and doesnt allow kim ji won to show off her range.

because its extremely slow. the cinematography is excellent and its almost like an arthouse movie but some parts are really unbearably slow for what is supposed to be a thriller drama. i had to watch some parts at 1.5x speed for it to be less painful.

Can someone explain Sora's comment about switching the fates of two women, one old and one young? Was Ra El's…
she was referring to Ra El and her mother. they originally had a good life, but thanks to sora's/her father's machinations, Ra El's father lost his company, and subsequently died,. Sora alluded that Ra El's mother may have been murdered by Sora's associates. So far it is not known if yoon gyeom knows about Ra El's family
