it's called 4 minutes because jesbible only get 4 minutes..

i actually don't have a problem with tongkla, or challenging boundaries in BLs with nc... but watching him f*ck every man he sees gets redundant at some point, regardless of how pivotal it is to the story. the mystery they have going on is much more entertaining. i'm sure people wouldn't even complain as much about tongkla if they got equally enough background with great and tyme..

that's the problem. this place is the elsewhere.. where else are you going to review a show aside from a... reviewing website... without character limits..? just because this person isn't mincing their words, doesn't mean they don't have a point..

it's fictional and it's true that biblejes' storyline is way more interesting, they are the main poster, yet like the title, only 4 minutes of screen time..

it's less likely an editing mistake because they don't usually film scenes like that with their actual body facing the staff. that's what vanity patches and prosthetics are for

there is still romance in 4 minutes and that show's main genre is supernatural and mystery anyways.. but it's still BL. the way some of you talk about 4 minutes is really strange. there is literally a story going on that is interesting but you guys have this weird prejudice against nc that doesn't add up to people who actually watch it

i mean.. it might be too long ago for people to remember now, but this is exactly how thai bl started. many people got into it in 2020 when the wheels were already turning but as someone who was here in the pink milk era.. it had to start problematic for it to evolve and become less offensive

ngl SA is still low-key present in current thai bls but there would be so many little things people didn't like such as heternormative labels i.e 'wife' the "i'm not gay i just like one man", the usage of women as villains.. there was even that one series fixated on r^pe..

i never thought we'd see the day of an uncensored chinese bl tbh. wuxia elements are so beautiful and we've been living off longing gazes for years now.. kinda like when korean bl was at most bromance and japanese bl were a rare occurence in a movie somewhere

all in all - somebody has to pioneer the movement, but those first few aren't going to be cookie-cutter. we have to start somewhere..

and that's why i mentioned people that haven't might not understand the nuances of involving police with potentially dangerous people when their stalking laws mostly protect you after an attack rather than prevent one from happening

you overestimate the police. like i said, when he was asked if he was in any danger, he said no, so again, his senior would've arrived faster than the police because it wouldn't be viewed as a threatening, emergency situation

have you ever dealt with police? the media portrays these things vastly differently. especially stalking cases and the fact no weapons were mentioned

i brought up him being from out of the city not because of the police but because not everyone will deal with potentially dangerous situations being a common occurence to know exactly how to deal with and process things. living in the city, you would be accustomed to it more than someone out of the city

i feel like if you ever witnessed what it's actually like for someone in the real world to report stalking and interact with the police, your perspective would be vastly different

and who said i didn't like the show from the first episode? literally where did you pull that from? not you coming at me without the facts. most normal people don't call others a hater and create their own narratives about other people to justify that over a tv show

you said but there's still a plot.. and your questions are suggesting a plot, when yes, every show has a plot.. the problem op has is about the plot being good or not.. that's the issue.. and they think the plot isn't good enough to keep their attention

the part that is nitpicking is saying that well actually there is a plot because the characters are going through things and different character motivations when that doesn't necessarily means a storyline is captivating enough for an audience

because some people were hoping that by half-way, the show would get better. half-way through a show is exactly the point where people give up. that's why everyone is saying it now

people like you are annoying because you assume everyone can't give a chance to a show and still not like it. nobody expects praise for not liking it but not to get berated for disliking the direction, either

do you not see how many people are actually saying they're not watching from now? and the comments are all shaming them for announcing their thoughts and departure. acting like it's wrong for them to say they don't like something and are giving up but you can say whatever you want

tbh, stalkers don't have to be attracted to their targets. i think some people are too black and white about how the guy reacted. everyone has a different fight, flight, freeze response to danger. it can be related to how you grew up as well. the guy is not from the city, either. the stalker didn't approach with a knife or something, that he knows of

i think people are overestimating what police would actually do. takara was nearby, police would've taken longer, and you know what, they might've not even come. cause the guy doesn't have a weapon (that he saw) so the police might not even have seen it as a threatening situation..

when takara asked if he sounded dangerous he said not really so right then and there the police might've even told him just to wait it out. even if he's outside, just knowing someone is willing to wait from daytime to nighttime outside your door..

the people who have never had this experience underestimate how they would feel and react in that situation whereas people who have had some experience or heard from others close to them can empathise a lot more with the guy

i understand you but also i'd also be worried calling the police. that could offend him and provoke something worse. you never know. calling someone you know instead seems less threatening to that person. it's not like police do much about stalking anyways. they can only do something once they attempt an attack or something and nobody wants to wait for that. especially when you're home alone

he's also not from the city either where there might've not been opportunities to learn how todeal with things like that

typical of people to get annoyed at anyone who dare not like a show or express something isn't living up to it's potential.. many of us were really giving this show a chance, myself included. i said last week that i'd stop but i really gave it another chance..

the show gained hype from the nc scenes but no matter how good they are, the story needs to stay on par. it's just simply not hitting the mark. there's no sea and no substance. like yes, we got character backstories, but everything about how it's shown is just unentertaining

even in the nc scenes, the dialogue is quite cringe, giving an adverse effect. it's just past over half-way through.. the chance it gets better is low.. that's why everyone is now giving up

also mame's writing stays problematic, i see. y'all gotta stop standing for casual colourism in shows based on lifestyles lived a billion years ago. it's 2024 not 1824.. the weirdly specific skin comments aren't right

that weird ass comment from the first episode about skin colour tells you all you need to know about the intentions. there's no excusing it
