He's in his last year of high school and preparing to study art in college. So, I think he must be more than 16. I can't remember if Yu Xing mentioned his age. I also don't remember which year he is in college. So the age gap could be within 5 years. That should not be a problem, right?
Seeing episode 5, I am now interested in the second ship. Wim and Jin. It's fun for me to watch a lower class man teasing and showing interest in his senior.
There is information I gathered from this episode that begins to make sense for me, but it's all based on my speculation. I'm not certain about the manifestation of Cir's dream yet. I know now how Cir knew so much about Phu, especially about the color of underpants Phu wears on different days of the week. The knowledge of Phu came from his best friend Wim. So there is no alternate world where there's Phukan aka Cir's supposed real boyfriend. That's not good for Phu cos he thinks that he himself is a stand-in for the non-existent Phukan.
Their fun date at the arcade was okay, nothing out of the ordinary date trope.
Thanks to Cir's full backstory, we'll get to see his brother in the next episode. I'm a fan of Mick Monthon since his cute role in La Cuisine (2022). So I am looking forward to seeing his handsome self again.
The image of a cute pouty face of Gun when he wanted to go outside brightens my morning. So happy to see his cheery face again. He's getting cuter by the day. His cute personality cheers me up as well.
Not that I mind, I'm not used to Yotha nice boyfriend demeanor just yet. He did a complete 180 degree change in one episode. Not surprised but expected knowing that he will want Gun as his boyfriend.
Arm's gift of the sets of pajamas to Yoth makes sense for me after seeing episode 15. In the beginning, I thought the uncharacteristic bright yellow on Yoth was part comedy to make Gun and us viewers smile. Now I realize that just as Gun has been a ray of sunshine Yotha never experienced, Yotha wearing them every night has been a safe and comforting light for Gun every night. Eventually by the end of this episode, Yotha in bright yellow pj guided Gun out of his nightmare into day-mare.
Lastly, Yotha's impatience skips steps to an NC cliffhanger. Whew!
One more episode of GunYotha story. It is time to heal Yoth's resentment of his mother. TBC

I wouldn't tattoo the worst day of my life. Why would Yoth want to see that day everyday to be reminded of past trauma instead of burying it in the conscience of my mind.

So it seems that Shenan returned further back in time before his dad married Shiwen's mom. Here I thought all that time was Shenan was reset back to when they first met. That explains why their parents have not been seen in the previous two episodes.
Honestly, I was not happy with them even after they agreed to let the boys stay together. I was so bothered by the same outfits both of them had on, day or night for how many days they were there. Regardless that they had given up interfering in the boys' affair, I still do not like their mind set on separating their sons from the beginning. It was good that Shiwen did not see the father slapping Shenan. That could have triggered Shiwen into regression which would make him scared of his stepfather.
Apparently from the preview of the next episode, Shenan heeds the hint from the pendant worn around his neck and will continue to keep a distance away from Shiwen. Shenan staying away does not change the fact that he already has Shiwen in his heart, can't deny that he's already in love.
Let's see where this series is going with these two in the remaining episodes.

Why am I still watching this? So cheesy and so many plot holes that any of the golf balls would land in one. I'm getting goosebumps hearing them saying they'll live and die together. Brrr.... There are actually two more episodes? Personally, there are series that I don't want to end. However, this is not one of them.

I've not seen the manga of this. However, the adaptation is very much like a manga. It focuses on the characters, techniques, the match and the protagonist's goal.
I like that the enemy exists only in the ring. There was no hate or grudge after the match. Actually, I like their good sportsmanship and that Aoba gained new friends after winning. i feel proud seeing the protagonist learned, experienced and grew. I am happy for Aoba just as his coach and Iwase.
I like these kinds of Japanese sports dramas that look like they pop out of a comic book.
Episode 4 is a riot, full of slapstick comedy. Both Heng and Mo failed to use "playing badminton with Newyear" as an excuse to bail himself out of obligation. Cher-aim using Heng's phone to record evidence was her quick-witted way of using Heng as a scapegoat. Both Cher-aim and her father lie and suspect each other.
Cher-aim needs to have her IQ rechecked. She teamed with Heng to investigate who the boss' "Honey" was like another "Dumb and Dumber" slapstick.
More mysteries than answers we don't need. The epilogue and the preview for the next episode add more to the confusion that I already have.
The support cast is only interested in Phu's affair with Cir, no help with the mysteries at all.
The only thing that's real for me is Phu's impending feelings for Cir. Their growing attraction to each other is what kept me interested so far.
Presently, I'm treating this series as a suspenseful romantic sci-fi mystery like the 4 Minutes series. We'll continue getting some out of sequence flashbacks mixed with certain realities and or supernatural phenomenons in the following episodes. Eventually, everything shown would align and show us twists that unfold in the story by the end of the last two episodes. 🤞 I hope I'm wrong in my speculation. I'm just barfing up weird conjecture out of my brain thus far.
