There is a scene like that in the novel. I read it, but don’t remember that kind of scene. I always thought what kind of situation led Porsche to say that. So after watching ep 9 I thought if porsche really ran away with Vegas and locking Porsche was’t really Kinn’s plan, which means he still doesn’t believe in Porsche, so i thought that’s why he said “i’m on your side” during the confrontation between Vegas and Kinn. And i believe there is no scene Porsche saying that in the novel.
