i understand that it’s been 3 days, this whole situation and all this negativity began to subside. and i also thought if it makes sense to write a comment about it, because i hate any conflicts and scandals on the internet and especially to participate in them, but i realised that i can’t keep silent, being a queer person. living in a queerphobic country, my only safe place is thai queer ( gl&bl ) fandom
i understand perfectly well that many female gl fans are misandrists ( man-haters ) and this is 'normal', because many female bl fans are misogynists ( in fact, this is not normal and i do not support it. i do not support any undeserved hatred on the internet and do not support misogyny, because myself i am a woman who loves women ). but to use homophobic / queerphobic slur to insult the male director ( + a just a person unfamiliar to you who has didn’t do anything wrong to you or the actresses ), while being a wlw ship fan and expecting a queer series from him ... it’s not even disgusting and hypocritical, it’s very painful. and you should understand that by showing homophobia / queerphobia you hurt not only him, but also your idols – actresses who are in the wlw ship, because they are also open representatives of the lgbtq+ community ( this is especially often said by N, who literally on one of her livestreams said that she is QUEER ). i don’t care if you don’t consider gl&bl series as queer / lgbtq+ series, but the fact remains – romantic love between 2 women / 2 men = non-heterosexual love = homosexual / queer / lgbtq+. no matter what you call these series, they are still a representation of our community ( + representation can be different )
in general, i really hope that such absurdity will not happen again and p‘jojo will activate his twt account again before the gr start airing. i really respect p‘jojo as a director and as a person. i love his works madly, for me he is one of the best gmmtheev directors ( + my 1st thai queer series was 'only friends'. if it weren’t for this series, i wouldn’t have continued to watch thai gls&bls and wouldn’t have joined this fandom ). i really like the style of his projects, the aesthetics of his projects, the soundtracks he selects for his projects, the color grading in his projects and much more. but the most important thing is how he demonstrates the representation of the queer community, tries to make his projects more queerness and always adds something in his projects that refers to western and world cinema. and please remember that it was in his project that the representation of wlw relationships was 1st presented among all projects from gmmtheev ( i know that the 1st canonical lesbian at gmmtheev was presented in 'sotus', but the 1st lesbian relationships in 'friend zone 2' ) therefore, i hope that p‘jojo understands that unfortunately there are inadequate people in every fandom and that they should not be paid attention to, because there are many more adequate fans who respect him and love his works. i also hope that this did not greatly affect his mental health and that all this time he was surrounded by care and support from his closest people ( especially from his wonderful husband ). and i really hope that after this case he will continue to shoot gls and we will be able to get the gr’s 2nd season. + it is very noticeable how comfortable the girls are and like to work with him
